'Esme and Roy' Season 2: Meet the voice cast of HBO Max's animated series on Monsterdale's best monster-sitters

Animated series have taken over with their popularity gaining a significant upward trend and among them is 'Esme and Roy' an American/Canadian animated show for children. With the pandemic still in full force, this would be a great distraction for little children and Season 2 is just around the corner. The all-new streaming service HBO Max will debut the second season of the animated series that showcases the ever effective "play and learn" aspect. With all-new 26 episodes set to launch, this season will continue to focus on the adventures of 7-year-old Esme and her monster friend Roy as the best monster-sitters in Monsterdale teach children skills of communication and teamwork among other virtues. 

Here are the voice actors that bring these adorable characters to life.

Esme - voiced by Millie Davis

Davis is a Canadian actress known for her roles as Ms. O in 'Odd Squad' (2014-2020) and 'Odd Squad: The Movie' (2016), young Angela in 'Apple Mortgage Cake' (2014) and as Summer in 'Wonder' (2017) and Gemma Hendrix in 'Orphan Black' (2013-2017). In 2015, Davis won a 'Joey Award' for 'Best Young Ensemble in a TV Series' in 'Odd Squad' sharing the win with her castmates.  Her most recent works include her role as Riley in 'Dino Dana' (2017-2019) and  Armadylan in 'PJ Masks' (2020)

Roy - voiced by Patrick McKenna

Patrick McKenna in 'Murdoch Mysteries' (IMDb)

McKenna, a Canadian comedian, actor and producer, is known for his roles as Harold Green in 'The Red Green Show' (1991-20006), Marty Stephens in 'Traders' (1996- 2000) and Umberto Ortega in 'RoboCop' (1994). As per the actor's IMDb page, he is the "only person" to win a Gemini award for 'Best Actor in a Drama' and 'Best Actor in a Comedy' in the same year. In 1998, McKenna won the awards for 'Traders' and 'The Red Green Show' respectively. His most recent works include 'Frankie Drake Mysteries,' 'Carter,' 'Hotel Transylvania: The Series', and 'Murdoch Mysteries.'

Lottie- voiced by Lilly Bartlam

Lilly Bartlam is an actress, currently voicing Skye in 'PAW Patrol' (2019-2020). She is also known for her roles as Cat Daughter / Cat Girl in 'Creeped Out' (2018), Molly in 'Odd Squad' (2016), Emma in 'Little People' (2018) and as Eden's Sister in 'The Handmaid's Tale (2017)'

Snugs Muzzywump - voiced by Benjamin Hum

Hum is an actor known for his roles as Greg / Gekko in 'PJ Masks' (2020), as O the Owl in 'Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood' (2017-2018) and Charlie in 'Corn & Peg' (2019)

Other voice actors include Hugo Ooga - voiced by Shayle Simons, Fig Ooga - voiced by Elle Simons and Tillie Plink - voiced by Abigail Oliver.
