NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: In an interview with Fox News anchor Sean Hannity, Eric Trump vigorously asserted that there was no wrongdoing within the Trump Organization, despite a prior ruling by Judge Arthur Engoron that contradicted this claim.

He further expressed his disappointment with Letitia James' prosecution, contending that it was politically motivated, and he alleged that she had been trying to target his father for nearly six years.

However, Hannity responded to Eric Trump's statements with a certain degree of skepticism.

The anchor pointed to Judge Engoron's September ruling, which had found the former president and his two adult sons liable for "persistent and repeated" fraud.

Following this conversation, Hannity took to X (formerly Twitter) to share Eric’s reactions to the latest developments coming out of the civil fraud against Donald Trump.

However, the internet did not respond positively to Eric’s alleged remarks and brutally slammed him on Hannity’s tweet.

Eric Trump spoke with Sean Hannity on civil fraud trial

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X and wrote, “ERIC TRUMP: “This whole narrative of theirs is asinine! Our banks loved us. There are no victims, there was no crime of any sort."

Hannity’s tweet featured an article from his official website titled, “'THIS IS ABOUT POLITICS!': Eric Trump Unloads on Kangaroo Court in NYC, 'This is a Charade!' [WATCH].”

Hannity also shared another tweet where he presented a video of his conversation with Eric Trump and wrote, “@EricTrump. This is a charade.”

While talking about to the fraud trial, Eric said, “This whole narrative of theirs is asinine!”

He continued, “Our banks loved us. There are no victims, there was no crime of any sort. But Letitia James has to go after my father. Now you see the NRCC and all these different coalitions fundraising on the fact that…they’re going after my father.”

“This is a charade!” added Eric.

Eric also delivered a scathing critique of Letitia James while coming to his father's defense. He exclaimed, "And it's thousands of employees, Sean!"

He placed significant emphasis on the predicament of various workers, including maids, housekeepers, engineers, drivers, and bellmen, all of whom, he claimed, relied on the Trump family and their properties for their livelihoods.

Eric argued that these employees, whose daily sustenance hinged on the Trump Organization, were being manipulated as pawns in Letitia James' political maneuvers.

He questioned, "Isn’t she responsible for taking care of New Yorkers and representing their best interests?”

He asked, “These people have incredible jobs because of us… and she wants to put those people in peril? Sean, these people are suffering.”

Internet label Eric Trump ‘fraud’ following Donald Trump’s civil trial

After Eric Trump shared his criticism against Donald Trump’s civil fraud case with Fox News anchor Sean Hannity, the internet slammed the ex-POTUS’ son.

One person wrote, “It's no charade.  Eric just doesn't want to lose his inheritance, or job for that matter.  He knows once the company is gone, he'll have to find a real job for the first time in his life.”

Another slammed Eric, adding, “That is what a fraud always say.”

A third person said, “Eric Trump should know a charade, because the Trump Organization has been a charade for decades. Daddy has taught his kids as daddy's daddy taught him.  Corrupt and crooked is their way of life.”

A person simply called out Eric by saying, “Charade? A criminal got his day,” as another said, “You lie, cheat, have bankruptcies when it suit you, stiff you vendors and lawyers, and pocket the money for yourself.  This is what you get.”
