Jasmine Cephas Jones
Jasmine Jones was born in London, England, on July 21, 1989, to Ron Cephas Jones and Kim Lesley, although she grew up in Brooklyn, New York, where she attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music, Art, and Performing Arts. Jones has appeared in a number of independent films, including Titus (2013) and Fairfield (2014). In the original Off-Broadway production of Hamilton in 2015, she played Maria Reynolds and Margarita "Peggy" Schuyler Van Rensselaer.
