One of the storylines in 'From' is that of the mysterious Sara Myers (Avery Konrad). On the outside, the girl at the diner is sweet. However, from what was seen in the first four episodes, all isn't right with Sara as she kills a car crash survivor in cold blood while he recovers from his injuries. Her freakish change in behavior also sees the death of Kenny Liu's (Ricky He) father and the nurse at the hands of the monsters.

The mystery continues even in the fourth episode when Sara receives an order to 'Kill the Boy'. The boy, in this case, is the young Ethan Matthews (Simon Webster) who has been stranded in the town with his family. The message is conveyed in the most gruesome manner when the veins of her left forearm swell to form the message. Soon after reading the message, Sara convulses falling to the floor of the diner.

The working theory at the moment is that Sara is actually possessed by the monsters who show up only at night. A subtle tease by the show on social media suggests that Sara wasn't part of this town. In a missing notice style. 'From' captioned the tweet, "Sara Myers was last seen traveling from New Hope, PA towards Boston, MA. Contact the police if you've seen her. #FROMonEPIX." This goes on to show that she was one of the people who made her way into this nightmare of a town just like the Matthews family.

Episode 4 deals with the new family in town struggling with their personal issues. Jim and Tabitha are headed towards a divorce and Ethan gives the two a jolt when he wanders into the woods with the deranged Victor. Much of the fourth episode deals with the aftermath of the horror that unfolded since the arrival of the family. Boyd and Father Khatri get into a heated argument where the latter urges him to be the leader the town wants him to be. Only time will tell if Sara succeeds after receiving her next task.

'From' airs Sunday nights at 9 pm on EPIX.
