Jae-hyun reunites with Yi-hoo

After ending his life, Jae-hyun is shown travelling to a checkpoint where he is greeted by Seiren. She explains how this new world is not much different from what he is used to. He gets desperate to meet his wife and gets carried to the beach where her house is in the Yonder. He goes inside and instantly rejoices at the sight of her. The two have an ecstatic reunion. Yin-hoo is visibly surprised seeing Jae-hyun and she takes him inside the bouse to give a tour. He is seemingly amazed at how beautiful the house looks but is surprised to see their infant daughter, Kim Ji-hyo. He later takes a tour of the neighbourhood with Yin-hoo where he meets Peach and her father. They invite him to his place for dinner.

Jae-Hyun questions the idea of immortality

In Yonder, time is not a concept. There is no forward or backward. There is no fear or worry about anything as death is also not a concept in this world. When Jae-hyun and Yin-hoo come back to their house, he is seemingly distressed due to the fact that there is nothing to live for anymore. He questions the idea of not having anything to worry about. He also asks this to Yin-hoo, but doesn't get the answer he wanted. These thoughts build up inside of Jae-hyun and he finally realizes the situation he is in when he arrives at the party and Choi Han-ki explains how in this world, people behave the same way everyday. There is no change. Same conversations and same faces.

Yin-hoo learns something shocking

Upon understanding how lonely these happy faces actually are, Jae-hyun and Yin-hoo return home but this time his frustration is visible. The next day as Yin-hoo prepares their baby for a length measurememt, she realizes that her child has not grown at all. Scared she runs out to Jae-hyun to tell him what had happened.
