In a crowd full of men in boring tuxedos, ‘Pose’ actor Billy Porter stepped onto the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards 2019 ‘s purple carpet in style. Clad in custom disco-inspired outfit by Michael Kors and a massive hat by British designer Stephen Jones., Billy turned heads with his bold fashion choice.
Billy’s custom Michael Kors black-and-white pinstripe suit looked stunning and has been embellished with a whopping 100,000 crystals! He accessorized the suit with a statement asymmetrical hat by Stephen Jones, and a cute purple purse.
The 50-year old actor has been consistently bowling us over with his picture-perfect red carpet looks. He set the bar high with his looks at Oscars, MET Gala, and most recently Tonys. Billy has been nominated for outstanding lead actor in a drama series for his role as Pray Tell in Ryan Murphy’s FX drama ‘Pose’. He is also the first openly gay black man to be nominated in the category. Billy posted an emotional Instagram post about how much the Emmy nomination means.
