Emmy Awards 2024: Hosts, time, date, full list of nominees and how to live stream
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The 76th Primetime Emmys nomination is here! Actors Sheryl Lee Ralph and Tony Hale have recently announced the most awaited nominations in the world of television for Hollywood's best comedy, drama, limited series and TV movie, among others. The winners will be announced on September 15 with a live premiere on ABC.
The viewers will witness history with Eugene and Dan Levy becoming the first-ever father-son duo to host the Primetime Emmy Awards at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles. However, this will not be the first time that Eugene and Dan made Emmy history. Eugene and Dan Levy became the first father-son duo to win Emmys in 2020.
However, this year's nomination featured a series of deserving candidates and a drama series. FX hit show 'Shōgun' led the list with 25 nominations. Meanwhile, 'The Bear' earned 23 nods, setting a record for the most nominations by a comedy series in a year. Hulu's 'Only Murders in the Building' and HBO's 'True Detective: Night Country' bagged 21 and 19 nominations, respectively.
