You might not get to visit the city of romance, Paris, anytime soon but Netflix's 'Emily in Paris' promises to take you on a ride like never before.

Created by Darren Star and starring Lily Collins in the titular role of Emily, the show follows a young woman on a new journey that is going to open new avenues for her.

When an ambitious 20-something marketing executive from Chicago, Emily Cooper, unexpectedly lands her dream job in Paris, hardly does she know that her life is going to take a turn for the good. Emily's new job comes as a result of her company acquiring a French luxury marketing company. So what does she do? Emily does the high profile job of revamping their social media strategy. No wonder the trailer is as glamorous as it gets.

Coming from the creator of 'Beverly Hills, 90210', 'Melrose Place', 'Sex and the City' and 'Younger', 'Emily in Paris' also promises its fair share of drama. Her new life in Paris is soon filled with intoxicating adventures and surprising challenges as she juggles everything that a new place brings — work colleagues, new friends and navigating new romances. Collins' role as the young, driven woman from the Midwest who bags a brand new job in Paris, is probably the few October releases we're looking forward to. As Emily gets on her way to some of the biggest adventures of her life through 10 episodes, so will the audiences. Collins also serves as the producer apart from starring in the movie.

Ashley Park stars in the series as Mindy Chen. Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Camille Razat and Bruno Gouery also star alongside her while Kate Walsh, William Abadie and Arnaud Viard are cast in recurring roles.

'Emily in Paris' was originally supposed to be a Paramount Network project since they had given the production a series order for a first season consisting of 10 episodes. But on July 13, 2020, it was reported that the series will be moving from Paramount Network to Netflix.

All 10 episodes of 'Emily in Paris' will be available to stream on Netflix from Friday, October 2, 2020.
