When a brand new, fancy job brings Emily Cooper to Paris, France, she is immediately smitten by the new land across the ocean. A land full of love, passion and new adventures, Emily finds herself catapulted into a pool of possibilities. What all on the table for her? Watch the series to know more.

The series has been created, written and executive produced by 'Sex and the City' creator Darren Star. Before the dramedy arrives on Netflix on October 2, 2020, meet the cast.

Lily Collins as Emily Cooper

Collins plays the role of the titular Emily on the Netflix comedy-drama. Over the course of the ten episodes, the series follows Emily on this new adventure in Paris. She also serves as the producer for the show.

As an actress, Collins requires no introduction. She is best known for her work in the independent romantic comedy-drama film 'Stuck in Love', 'Love Rosie' and 'The English Teacher'. For her work in 'The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones', she was nominated for the Teen Choice Award for Choice Movie Actress - Action and an MTV Movie Award. Her recent projects include playing Fantine in BBC's adaptation of 'Les Misérables', Ted Bundy's girlfriend Liz Kendall in 'Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile' and Edith in 'Tolkien'.

Not many know that Collins is also a published author (she played an author in 'Stuck in Love' alongside Greg Kinnear Nat Wolff and Logan Lerman). Her first book 'Unfiltered: No Shame, No Regrets, Just Me' makes several revelations into the actress' life, including her battle with an eating disorder. The struggle helped her work on Netflix's 'To The Bone', which was about a young girl battling anorexia nervosa.

Ashley Park as Mindy Chen

Park plays the role of Mindy Chen. Going by the looks of the trailer, she plays the role of Emily's supportive friend in Paris.

The actress is known for her performance as Tuptim in 2015's 'The King and I'. For her work as Gretchen Wieners in the Tony-nominated musical 'Mean Girls' in 2018, she was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical, the Drama League Award, and the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical.

She was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia during her sophomore year in high school and was in the hospital for eight months. In interviews, she has said, "My cancer experience is, I think, the reason I do theater...As soon as I was out of the hospital, all I wanted to do is be around people".

Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu

Philippine's role in 'Emily in Paris' has not been revealed at the moment. The French actress is known for her work in 'L'Amour en héritage', 'Neuf mois', 'Graziella' and 'Call My Agent!'.

There was a time when her actor father Philippe Leroy-Beaulieu was against her decision to enter the same vocation. So she fled from Italy to Paris at the age of 16 against her parents' wishes, eventually making her debut in the 1983 film 'Surprise Party' by Roger Vadim. But she is best known for her work in 'Trois hommes et un couffin' ('Three Men And A Cradle'), a role for which she earned a nomination for the César Award for Most Promising Actress.

The series also stars Camille Razat, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold and Bruno Gouery as the main cast while Kate Walsh, William Abadie and Arnaud Viard play the recurring cast. Details about their roles aren't revealed yet. Stay tuned as MEA WorldWide (MEAWW) will update this article when more information is available.
