When will 'Emergence' Season 1 Episode 5 air? Here is when we will get to see Piper's story again with 'RDZ9021'

We know that jo will run through a brick wall to save Piper and anyone else that needs her protection.

The heartbreaking, poignant story of the Douglas family was explored delicately and sensitively by the incomparable Diane Sawyer on Tuesday night, and as much as we appreciated it, we are ready to see Piper (Alexa Swinton) and Jo (Allison Tolman) back in action. Two weeks without ‘Emergence’ is two weeks too long, and we are looking forward to the premiere of Season 1 Episode 5 of the ABC series on Tuesday, October 29.

The series is at a very pivotal moment, with Jo having discovered the girl she is fond of and has decided to foster is not really a girl at all, but an AI. More importantly, she doesn’t know that she is an AI, in fact, the awareness of that may actually cause self-destruction. This makes her very vulnerable despite all the cool powers she has.

The looming possibility that she may find out the truth about herself is very real based on the trailer for the upcoming ‘RDZ9021’, wherein we see that Kindred (Terry O'Quinn) and she finally meet on the series. Kindred, as we know, is not only a dangerous man, he also thinks of Piper as his property and has made it clear to Jo that he is willing to go to any lengths to try and retrieve his property. He is all the more dangerous now because there is quite a bit of what he thinks belongs to him that he has lost since the airplane crash.

Emily (Maria Dizzia), meanwhile, is trying to help Jo and Chris (Robert Bailey Jr.) with whatever information they need to take Kindred down. It is clear that he is not going to forgive this insolence, and may kill her too, before he tries to either kidnap or kill Piper.

It is not going to happen to Jo’s watch though. Because we know that she will run through a brick wall to save Piper and anyone else that needs her protection. She has also come to the realization that the only way Piper can be safe is for Kindred to be truly taken down.

We are excited to watch this in action when ‘Emergence’ returns with Season 1 Episode 5 on October 29.
