LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: It seems there's bad blood between Harry Jowsey and Taylor Swift fans aka 'Swifties.'

The 'Dancing With The Stars' celebrity contestant recently followed Taylor Swift's ex-manager Scooter Braun on Instagram.

Soon after, a Swiftie noticed that and put out a screenshot of Jowsey's Instagram following list on X formerly known as Twitter. The screenshot also went viral on Reddit.

The list showed Jowsey following Braun and then, fans united on Reddit and stated that they wanted the YouTube personality eliminated from the dance reality show.

Harry Jowsey faces backlash for his past homophobic remarks

Earlier this month, Jowsey received a lot of hate online for his past homophobic remarks.

While making an appearance in an October 2021 episode of his podcast 'Tap In with Harry Jowsey', he made use of a homophobic slur toward YouTube star James Charles.

Then, he said, "James Charles is trying to f**k me. He's just some f****t."

At that point, the netizens slammed him for the homophobic comments he made 2 years ago.

An X user said, "Harry Jowsey is a homophobe btw, don't vote for him."

Followed by a person who wrote, "People finally remember that Harry said a whole a** homophobic slur, I see."

Harry Jowsey performs rumba in 'DWTS' Season 32 (Taylor's Version)

As per a report by Page Six, Jowsey and his partner Rylee Arnold are set to perform rumba in the upcoming ninth episode of 'Dancing With The Stars' Season 32.

While having a chat with the media outlet, he stated that he was worried about taking on the dance style as this would be his first time doing it.

The reality TV star said, “It’s just so scary! There’s so many dances and we’re not allowed extra time."

He further added, “It’s hard to ask somebody to learn a dance that’s like a second priority kind of, because we’re more worried about the rumba. It’s just overall a hard week but we can push through.”

It's a dream for Jowsey and Arnold to survive this week's elimination and move on to the Season 32 Semi-Finals.

The Australian native continued, "Thinking bigger than myself, of the small kid, in a small town, on a farm, being able to do something like this. Like back when I was 10 years old, I couldn’t imagine this."

What happened between Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun?

The beef between Swift and Braun kicked off because of a man named Scott Borchetta, the owner of Big Machine Records.

The Grammy winner first signed with the record label company when she was 15 years old.

According to Us Weekly, in June 2019, it was revealed that Braun's media company Ithaca Holdings had acquired Borchetta’s Big Machine Label Group for a staggering $300 million.

As per the deal, Scooter became the owner of Swift's first six albums with Big Machine Records: her self-titled debut, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989, and Reputation.

The famed pop star spoke about the deal and described it as her “worst case scenario” and alleged that she had faced “incessant, manipulative bullying” from Braun for years.

In August of the same year, Swift announced that she would be re-recording all her six albums to bag the rights of her masters.

During an appearance on Good Morning America, the pop star told Robin Roberts, "I think artists deserve to own their own work."
