Duncan is your average teenager - he may be about as average as a teenager can get. He lives in a small town, with average skills in a very average life, though he has a rich and highly unrealistic dream life. He lives with his family - his mother, Annie (Amy Poehler), father Jack (Ty Burrell), and his young sisters, Kimberly (Rikki Lindhome) and Jing (Joy Osmanski). Each of his family have their own dreams and ambitions to deal with, but they come together when it matters most - as a family.
