Plot
Duncan is your average teenager - he may be about as average as a teenager can get. He lives in a small town, with average skills in a very average life, though he has a rich and highly unrealistic dream life. He lives with his family - his mother, Annie (Amy Poehler), father Jack (Ty Burrell), and his young sisters, Kimberly (Rikki Lindhome) and Jing (Joy Osmanski). Each of his family have their own dreams and ambitions to deal with, but they come together when it matters most - as a family.
Cast
Amy Poehler
Amy Poehler plays both Duncan and his mother, Annie. Amy Poehler is a well known comedic actress, writer, comedian, producer and director. She is most well known for her role on 'Parks & Recreation,' as well as her roles on 'Wet Hot American Summer,' 'Saturday Night Live!' and 'Sisters.' She is also one of the co-creators of 'Duncanville.'
Ty Burrell
Ty Burrell plays Jack, Duncan's father. A hardcore rock fan, Jack clings to his youth, and wants nothing more in the world than a close connection with his family. Ty Burrell is a long time comedic actor, most famous for his role on 'Modern Family.' He has also had roles in 'Muppets: Most Wanted,' 'Mr. Peabody and Sherman,' and 'Back to You.'
Rikki Lindhome
Rikki Lindhome plays Kimberley, a ruthless middle schooler who is just trying to make it through high school without being embarrassed by her family. Lindhome is an actress known for her roles in 'Another Period,' 'Con Man,' and 'Garfield & Oates.'
Joy Osmanski
Joy Osmanksi plays Jing, Duncan's youngest sister, a plucky young child taking life by the horns. Osmanski is known for her roles in 'Santa Clarita Diet,' 'Devious Maids,' and will be appearing on the upcoming 'Stargirl.'
Creator
The sitcom has been co-created by Amy Poehler, Mike Scully and Julie Scully for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The trio executive produced the series with executive producer Dave Becky. Animated by Bento Box Entertainment (Bob's Burgers), the show is produced by 20th Century Fox Television, Universal Television, and FOX Entertainment.
