'Dr Pimple Popper': Reginald's sticky, smelly skin condition makes children think he is from the walking dead
Reginald has always wanted to live a free and comfortable life, but that changed the day he noticed that keloids were forming at the back of his head. Reginald revealed that the bumps on his head started forming 20 years ago and over time, they kept growing. Fearful of what they might be, Reginald decided to meet a doctor who revealed that they were keloids.
While Reginald has wanted to get rid of them, they seem to be an invited guest who has refused to leave. Reginald revealed that he wears a hat to cover the bumps but it has not made his life any easy. Meanwhile, his wife, Karla, revealed that he wore a hat on the day of their wedding as well. At the same time, she revealed how the bumps have made him a victim of bullying with people starring at him to children getting scared and thinking he is someone from the walking dead. Reginald further revealed that the bumps often smell like an infection and have blood and puss coming out of it.
To make things worse, since the bumps are located at the back of his head, it has been hard for him to sleep as that area would often become numb and cause neck pain. Reginald became emotional and admitted that he did not want to live like the way he was. Karla revealed that the bumps had affected him as during their honeymoon he refused to go to a beach or in the water. Reginald agreed that the bumps and his skin condition had made it hard for him to enjoy the little things in life. Dr Sandra Lee understood how important the meeting was for Reginald. She decided to check the bumps on his back. Karla helped to show how some of them were soft while the others were bigger in size.
Upon seeing, Dr Lee came to the conclusion that Reginald had three skin conditions going on at the back of his head. The big lump on his head was a keloid. The second layer of his skin that was bigger and had hair in the middle was a condition called Acne Keloidalis Nuchae. Meanwhile, the third layer that was affected was a Cutis Verticis Gyrata, a condition in which the skin has layers of folds. Dr Lee assured Reginald that she would help take care of his condition. However, since there were three skin conditions going on at once, she wanted to be sure about the step she takes. Dr Lee decided to meet Reginald face-to-face soon to get to the bottom of his problem. Will she be able to come up with a cure that lasts forever?
