'Doubling Shot At Love': Maria is jealous as Vinny talks to another woman, will this cause a rift between them?
Maria Elizondo and Vinny Guadagnino shocked fans when they kissed each other on the show and it looks like their relationship is taking a different turn. Maria and Vinny decided to hookup in this season and they had promised each other that they will only see each other as friends. However, things changed in the latest episode (August 13) when Maria and Vinny chanced upon another girl who he had cheated on with.
Olivia, who was the waitress at the restaurant where all the cast members went, had met Vinny when he was dating another girl. The two ended up spending the night together and Vinny confessed that he had cheated on his ex-girlfriend. Maria did not seem comfortable with the chemistry between Olivia and Vinny. She admitted that things were getting awkward and that she felt jealous. Unfortunately, Olivia did not get the hint as Vinny continued to flirt with her. While Pauly D tried to warn Vinny about what was happening, it did not seem to make a difference.
Speaking to the camera, Vinny admitted that he wanted to keep things casual between him and Maria. He added that Maria and he had decided to keep things casual between them. However, seeing how Olivia's presence made her uncomfortable, Vinny wondered if she had started developing feelings for him. To make sure he does not upset her more, Vinny decided to go and talk to Maria.
At first, she maintained her distance, but as time passed, Maria knew it was her chance to show Olivia that Vinny is with her. To make sure Olivia got the hint, Maria and Vinny kissed and the two got closer with time. Vinny understood that Maria was having feelings for him and he wanted to make sure that she feels good being in the same room as him.
As the night progressed, the two got closer. However, Vinny decided it was best not to spend time together. While it may look like the two have some feelings for each other, Vinny hinted that he would still like to keep it casual and not jump into a relationship. Can Maria handle being just friends after seeing how jealousy tends to take over their relationship?
