LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Episode 8 of 'Doctor Cha' came in all guns blazing and left quite a mark. While we were anticipating this plot twist to happen, we didn't know it would happen so soon. 'Doctor Cha' has been quite a treat to watch and has been entertaining, dramatic, funny, and sensual all at once. The storyline is quite simple and yet it tries to eradicate and talk about some of the biggest societal problems. The mixture of multiple genres has made 'Doctor Cha' a fun watch. While we are praising the plot, how can we forget about Uhm Jung-Hwa's phenomenal acting as well as all the supporting actors that enhance the quality of the show? All of these points should be convincing enough for anyone to add 'Doctor Cha' to their watchlist.

With Episode 8 of the Netflix show, many secrets are out, relationships have turned sour, and everything that In-ho built has come crashing down in a second. With Uhm Jung-hwa, the cast includes, Kim Byung-chul, Myung Se-bin, and Min Wook-hyuk in the lead.

'Doctor Cha' Episode 7 Review: Jung-sook and Roy's palpable chemistry plants a seed of doubt in In-ho's mind

A bad husband and a bad mother-in-law

In-ho's mother Ae-sim learns about his son's infidelity and instead of trying to teach him a lesson, she tells him to shut her daughter up by giving her everything she wants, and with that, she means sending I-rang to art school. Ae-sim is persistent about not letting Jung-sook know about this and is trying to contain the situation. On the hospital front, In-ho's son Jung-min drops something off at In-ho’s desk and sees that his dad has left his phone there.

Unfortunately, he snoops over an open text message from Seung-hi asking to meet In-ho at the 2nd-floor emergency exit at 5 pm. Curious, he decides to show up and see what’s going on. He is emotionally scarred when he sees Seung-hi hugging In-ho and comforting him.

How does Jung-sook find out about In-ho and Seung-hi?

During Jung-sook's birthday dinner, she notices one of the restaurant workers browsing social media. It’s Seung-hi’s social media page and Jung-sook takes a look through the previous posts. She has uploaded many pictures from Paris including a hashtag about 'couple goals' that rings alarm bells. Jung-sook starts to put the puzzle pieces back together and figures out about In-ho and Seung-hi's affair.

Everything blows up after that, and while we surely can explain it all, it would be a visual treat to watch In-ho's life go into shambles. Episode 9 will be a fun treat to watch, now that everyone knows about In-ho and his double life.
