Disney+'s 'Doctor Who' fans rave over 'The Devil's Cord' episode, declaring it the series' best yet

In this season of 'Doctor Who', fans explore historical periods like the Regency era and the swinging 1960s, meeting The Beatles

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Disney+ just debuted the first two episodes of 'Doctor Who' and the fans are loving the show so far. In this season of 'Doctor Who', viewers can expect a total of eight episodes, with each episode airing weekly.

Excitingly, this season will introduce new faces such as Jinkx Monsoon and Jonathan Groff.

Throughout the season, fans will be taken on adventures to various historical periods, including the Regency era and the swinging 1960s, where they'll even encounter The Beatles.

During the 60th-anniversary special of 'Doctor Who', there were three thrilling episodes, and the final one significantly changed the lore of the Whoniverse. Most notably, Ncuti Gatwa made his impressive debut as the fifteenth Doctor, succeeding the beloved David Tennant.

Fans hail 'Devil's Chord' as one of the best 'Doctor Who' episodes

Fans are thoroughly enjoying the show, and the episode 'Devil's Chord' has particularly won over their hearts. One fan wrote, "If you didn’t enjoy the Devil’s Chord, I’m genuinely just convinced your tasteless and hate fun," while another fan said, "I'm obsessed with The Devil's Chord, what a fanf*****gtastic episode."

Praising the cast of 'Devil's Chord', one fan wrote, "Jinkx’s performance as Maestro in The Devil’s Chord was phenomenal. One of the best doctor who episodes I’ve seen in a very long time."
