There have previously been quite a few shockers on the daily soap opera 'General Hospital'. However, the episode that recently aired on Monday presented a surprising incident that audiences could not have anticipated. For the sake of full disclosure, Drew leaves Willow and tells Nina he doesn’t want her around his daughter anymore. While speculation abounds surrounding Drew's ultimate fate, a recounting of everything that transpired on the latest episode is in order.

As per Soap She Knows, the latest episode opened with Willow being overjoyed at the news of her acquittal. Alexis, on her part, wasn't too keen on Willow being let off the rap. Upon returning home with Drew, Willow lamented the absence of their children. In response, Drew promised her he would get their children back. Willow cleverly told her stepdaughter, Scout, that he was free to go and meet his grandmother. Nina soon arrived with a bottle of champagne, and the celebration followed.

Throughout all that transpired in the episode, one could scarcely have an inkling of Willow's subsequent action. Once, after she had Chelsea take Scout away to his grandmother's, Willow reflected that she and Drew finally had their moment alone. The two toasted each other, and the unsuspecting Drew was sipping his champagne, sitting in his chair and speaking about a proposed vacation, when Willow did the unthinkable. Sneaking up behind Drew, Willow produced a hypodermic syringe out of nowhere.

Willow proceeded to jab the syringe into Drew's neck mercilessly. The latter was dumbfounded as things were moving faster than he could process. He was at a total loss as to the reason why Willow would do such a thing, and as he collapsed from his seat, Drew kept asking Willow about what she had done. However, the stone-hearted Willow didn't bat an eyelid and confessed in a calm demeanour, "Everything's going to work out, Drew. You'll see."

It goes without saying that Drew was not shown to be really dead on 'General Hospital'. However, he must now struggle his way through a brutal drug-induced coma. Willow's plan, if she has one, would require Michael to relinquish partial custody of the children, and it would only be successful if Drew is so far away from it all that he can't pose a reasonable threat. On the other hand, Willow also has a significant mess on her hands, with Drew lying unconscious. Willow must now decide upon Drew's ultimate fate. The upcoming episode of the show teased Tracy telling Nina that karma had finally caught up with Willow. The true import of these lines remains a matter of speculation until the airing of the next episode. "How long before you are back in Willow's bed?" Michael asked Chase. 'General Hospital', which won the Emmy Award for the fifth consecutive year in 2025, is available on Hulu
