On the premiere episode of 'Real Housewives of Dubai', Caroline Brooks told the audience that she walked out of her marriage with nothing, but her son and her last name. The recently aired episode of the Bravo show featured Caroline slyly declaring that it's expensive to cheat on her and to just ask her exes about it. 

These contradictory statements left fans puzzled over whether Caroline received a hefty divorce settlement or not. Several fans took to Twitter to question Caroline if she lied at the beginning of the show. Well, as it turns out, there's a pretty simple explanation to it. In response to one of the tweets seeking clarification on her divorce settlement money, Caroline cleared the air by explaining that her ex-husband isn't her only ex.

A Twitter user posted, "oh, okay, so @caroline_dubai did get a hefty divorce settlement - for some reason I thought she mentioned that she just left without taking any money from the ex, started from scratch, and became a self-made millionaire in a year. which is it? #RHODubai." Caroline replied to the tweet saying she never received any money from her divorce, and that she has other exes aside from her ex-husband. The housewife replied, "I got zero divorce settlement. My ex husband is not my only ex I’m so tired of saying this."

Despite Caroline's clarification, many fans were still puzzled by her divorce and financial situation. A fan wrote, "Brooks what is the truth?? Didn’t you say you left your marriage with nothing but your child? Now you saying you got a settlement. Mmkay #RHODubai." "No shade but brooks talking about it’s expensive if he cheats but did t she also say she did t ask for anything from her ex as long as she could have her son?! #RHODubai," questioned a fan. Another fan shared, "I'm confused by Brooks... I thought she said she walked away with nothing but her kid after her divorce... but know she's saying that it's expensive to cheat on her...
