LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Death and Other Details' gets more interesting with another murder on the luxury cruise right under the nose of Interpol agent Hilde Erikson (Linda Emond) and 'World's Greatest Detective' Rufus Cotesworth (Mandy Patinkin).
Hulu's murder mystery show has kept fans hooked with its engaging plotline and mind-boggling suspense. It revolves around Rufus Cotesworth and Imogene Scott (Violett Beane) who come together to solve the murder case of Danny aka Keith Trubitsky (Michael Gladis).
Governor Alexandra Hochenverg dies in Episode 6 of 'Death and Other Details'
In one of the previous episodes, Rufus and Imogene made substantial progress in the murder case as they discovered Winnie Goh (Annie Q Riegel) as the culprit. However, it was also established that Winnie acted as a mere puppet while Victor Sams was the mastermind.
Winnie was locked behind bars on the ship as Rufus and Imogene set on a mission to expose the mysterious Victor Sams.
Episode 6 witnesses the murder of Governor Alexandra Hochenverg (Tamberla Perry), one of the VIP members on the ship.
The Governor is seen meeting Agent Hilde on the deck when she coughs blood and dies immediately. Her sudden death causes chaos and terror among the other passengers on the ship.
Who killed Governor Alexandra and why?
Governor Alexandra was secretly having an affair with Tripp Collier (Jack Cutmore-Scott). Following the investigation around Keith Trubitsky's murder, she broke up with Tripp. Things took an ugly turn for her when she received an email containing her intimate pictures with Tripp.
Alexandra assumed that the Collier family was behind the threatening email and therefore, she planned revenge against the family by exposing their ugly secrets.
In the latest episode, we see the Governor approaching Agent Hilde. She asks for full immunity in exchange for solid evidence against Lawrence Collier.
One can assume that the Collier family was involved in some dirty business and the Governor might have done them some favors to step up in her political career.
Upon finding her reputation in danger, she pulled up a file that contained all the evidence against the Collier family. However, the file was swapped before she could hand it over to Agent Hilde.
It doesn't take much time for Imogene to figure out that Winnie killed the Governor. Winnie, who is locked up for killing Keith, pulled up the act three days prior as she injected her with poison instead of vitamins.
Winnie's act was influenced by the instructions of Victor Sams. Unaware of the identity of Sams, Winnie lives under the impression that he is a good man who fights corruption in his own ways.
Up next, we'll see Imogene interviewing Rufus and look into the details with a fresh perspective to discover the connection between Victor Sams, Colliers, and the murders of the ship.
Six episodes of 'Death and Other Details' are currently streaming on Hulu.
