LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rufus Coteworth (Mandy Patinkin) and Imogene Scott (Violett Beane), who came together to find the killer of Danny/Keith Trubitsky (Michael Gladis), are getting closer to the truth with each episode. The latest episode is loaded with twists, confessions, and startling revelations.

The previous episode suggested Jules Toussaint (Hugo Diego Garcia) to be the killer after he went missing and Interpol agent Hilde Erikson (Linda Emond) found fake passports and other documents in his cabin. However, the case takes an unexpected twist.

While Erikson is behind Jules, Imogene makes progress in the case by investigating one of the refugees hiding in the vessel. The young Ukrainian girl, Yeva (Sofia Rosinsky), who was crawling through the vents on the night of the murder, reveals that she heard a man scream and saw a woman in heels.

This makes Imogene and Rufus believe that Teddy Goh (Angela Zhou), the crew manager, is the real culprit.

After a round of questioning, it is found out that Teddy, being a dominatrix by night, was serving Llewellyn Mathers (Jere Burns), the Colliers' lawyer when the murder took place.

Imogene and Rufus realize that Teddy has been covering for her sister Winnie (Annie Q Riegel), who might be connected to the murder.

Rufus announces an end to the lockdown while mentioning that Teddy is the killer. This baffles Winnie, who walks up to the investigators and confesses the crime. She says, "They'll own the truth but they'll never own us."

While Interpol agent Erikson is happy to find the killer, Rufus and Imogene know that the case isn't solved here as they aren't convinced of Winnie's motive behind the murder.

The episode ends with Leila Collier (Pardis Saremi) making an appearance, who was missing in the entire episode. She catches Rufus by surprise as she steps out of a cupboard and mentions that they haven't found the killer and Winnie is just one of the followers.

Leila enquires Rufus if he knows about Victor Sams. This hints at a connection between the murder of Danny and Imogene's mother.

In Episode 2, it was revealed that Victor Sams is an alias for an international syndicate that profits from corporate blackmail. As Rufus was approaching the truth, he suddenly quit the case or was removed from it.

During the recent episode, Governor Alexandra Hochenverg is also seen getting blackmailed over her intimate pictures with Tripp Collier. It seems that Imogene, Rufus, and Interpol are far from the truth yet.

We shall see if Leila helps Rufus uncover the mysteries in the upcoming episode.

Four episodes of 'Death and Other Details' are streaming on Hulu.
