Spoilers for 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' Season 5 Episode 14 'The One Where We're Trapped On TV'

Episode 14 'The One Where We're Trapped On TV' was possibly the most enjoyable episode of 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' Season 5 and that's saying a lot because this season has been one hit after another. But even as we celebrate an amazing hour of television, we can't help but wonder how much more fun it would have been if Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) was still on the show.

Ray exited the Waverider alongside his new wife Nora Darhk (Courtney Ford) after Episode 8 and that's the last we saw of him. Considering Routh and Ford have left the show for good, we didn't expect to see them in Episode 14, but it still would have been nice to see him enjoy the wacky and insane story.

In the episode, Earth-Prime has been transformed into the dystopian Loom World by the Three Fates and the Legends are stuck on TV shows, including a parody of 'Friends' (called 'Ultimate Buds'), a parody of 'Downton Abbey' ('Highcastle Abbey'), and 'Star Trip', a twisted homage to 'Star Trek'. It was by far one of the wildest episodes we have seen on the show but Ray would have made it even wilder. We can almost imagine him pulling off a Ross Geller-like character on 'Ultimate Buds' and we all know just how sexy he would have looked in a tailored suit on 'Highcastle Abbey'. We're not quite sure what a Romulan, sorry, Gromulan Ray would have looked like but it would have been nice to find out anyway.

Ultimately, the show will go on without our beloved Ray, and to be fair, it's still pretty awesome. But that said, we do miss seeing him on the show and we are sure the Legends do as well. Here's the synopsis for Episode 14: "After Charlie does the one thing that goes against her nature when it comes to her sisters, she tries to protect the Legends by scattering them in different television shows."

'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' Season 5 airs Tuesdays at 9 pm ET on The CW.
