Heather Tom has bagged the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her performance as Katie Logan on CBS's 'The Bold and the Beautiful' but not everyone is happy. This is Tom's sixth Emmy win and it seems a lot of viewers think she didn't deserve it this time.

Other nominees in the same category included Tom's co-star Katherine Kelly Lang who plays Brooke Logan on 'The Bold and the Beautiful', Finola Hughes and Maura West from 'General Hospital' (ABC) and Arianne Zucker who plays Nicole Walker on NBC's 'Days of Our Lives'.

While Tom does have her fans who are celebrating the win, a vast majority of viewers seemed to think the award should have gone to someone else. A number of them took to Twitter to air their grievances and here's what they've been saying: "Heather Tom? Again? Stop the BS #DaytimeEmmys," one viewer wrote.

Another Twitter user and a fan of 'The Bold and the Beautiful' tweeted, "#DaytimeEmmys I am a Bold and the Beautiful fan. However, I don't think that Heather Tom should have won. Finola Hughes is a better actress..." A fan responded to the above tweet writing, "She didn't earn it this year. She had no real story."

"Can we be done with Heather Tom winning with her same hospital bed dying scenes every year. There’s other talent out there for real.#DaytimeEmmys," a viewer declared. Another Twitter user pointed out "The power of Heather Tom. She’s been on screen the least out of all the actresses nominated and still wins. Amazing #BoldandBeautiful #DaytimeEmmys."

"Katie comes close to death and the Emmy is in the bag for Heather Tom. #DaytimeEmmys," a fan tweeted. One viewer summed up the anti-Heather Tom sentiment writing, "#DaytimeEmmys this is why the awards went off TV. Sorry, an actor or actress should be judged on their work ALL year not a week or two. Heather Tom is not that great. #sorrynotsorry."

What did you think of Heather Tom's victory? Do you think she deserved to win? Let us know in the comments. The 47th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards were conducted virtually on June 26 and broadcast on CBS.
