'The Ellen DeGeneres Show ' has won the Daytime Emmy Award for 'Outstanding Talk Show/Entertainment' yet again. Fans are celebrating Ellen's win on Twitter but there are a few who think that it's about time she takes her name out of the running so someone else can win for a change.

"Congrats Ellen #DaytimeEmmy," one fan tweeted. "YES! Congrats to Ellen for winning best outstanding Talk Show! #DaytimeEmmy," another fan wrote. "Yay Ellen DeGeneres won #DaytimeEmmy," yet another fan tweeted. "By the way, The Ellen Show has set a brand new record once again with tonight’s 12th victory in the Entertainment Talk Show category. The show has only lost in 2008, 2009, 2012, 2016 and 2018," a fan wrote. "It’s obvious @TheEllenShow was gonna win! #DaytimeEmmy," another fan tweeted.

Not everyone was happy with the win though. Ellen beat 'GMA3: Strahan, Sara and Keke' (ABC), 'The Kelly Clarkson Show' (Syndication), 'Live with Kelly and Ryan' (Syndication), and 'The Talk' (CBS), and some fans think that one of them should have received the award, mostly because Ellen has already won enough.

"How do you give Ellen another Emmy when Keke Palmer is right there? #DaytimeEmmy," one user asked. "The craziest thing about the #DaytimeEmmy is that there’s only so much content. I feel like if you’re on Daytime TV long enough, you’ll get an Emmy," another user tweeted. "Seriously hasn’t Ellen won enough?!?! She should take her name out of the running like Oprah did after she won a million times. Let someone else win. #DaytimeEmmy," yet another Twitter user wrote.

In all fairness, 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' has now won 62 Daytime Emmy Awards, more than any other show in the same category. However, in all probability, Ellen won't be taken off the nominations list any time soon and she's going to win more awards in the years to come. What do you think of Ellen's latest win? Do you think she needs to step aside so someone else has a chance to win the top prize? Let us know in the comments.

The 47th Daytime Emmy Awards were conducted virtually on June 26 and broadcast on CBS.
