‘Days of Our Lives’ is filled with one too many twists and shockers. In the latest episode, Kate and Jake enjoyed a flirty Thanksgiving and Gwen was upset to find them asleep in each other’s arms in Jake’s workshop. Moreover, Chad had a nightmare of Abigail having sex with Jake.
As the episode comes to a close, Gwen thanks Chad for not inviting Jake to dinner. She lies about Abigail inviting him and Chad fumes. Many fans are upset over the storyline. "End this...it’s bad enough that you guys admitted that this only happened b/c the writers were lazy and didn’t know what to do with these two characters. But it’s embarrassing when the doll story on the soap sounds more interesting," one fan said and continued, "Kate is single, Jake is single. They can bang if they want. This is not issue. It’s the manufactured drama around it. Kate is NOT Chad’s wife (nor mother) She has no reason to hide the identity of whoever she’s banging from Chad. He should not care."

However, there's a break before the next episode. The NBC soap opera will not air on November 26 for Thanksgiving holiday. Many fans still love the show and can't wait for it to be renewed. "Days of our Lives keeps getting even better with each passing episode and week. I really hope this show will be getting renewed for a 57th season," one said.
Others continued the slam fest. "This show has chosen the wrong thing to promote every day this week so far. Actual things happened that people have wanted, but they’ve consistently stuck with the low points," one said and another wrote, "Kate fan here. Sex is not a story.
