What happened in 'Dark Matter' Episode 6?
'Dark Matter' Episode 6 begins with Leighton Vance (Dayo Okeniyi) going inside the box in Reality 1 with plans to never return.
The episode also focuses on Jason 2's dissatisfaction in this world as he realizes that things aren't what he expected. His actions have been causing distance between him and Daniela Dessen (Jennifer Connelly), which starts to bother him.
After Jason 2 gives an ice cream with nuts to Charlie (Oakes Fegley) and he lands up in Emergency room with his triggered allergy, Daniela's suspicion about her husband grows.
However, it's the needle marks on his arms that truly alarm her, and she decides to spy on him. She follows him to the storage unit and finds used ampoules.
Unaware of what it is, she brings the ampoules to Ryan Holder (Jimmi Simpson), who then confronts Jason 2 for allegedly stealing his work.
Jason 2 asserts that he hasn't stolen his research and instead, he has been successful in making the pills. When Ryan asks about the application of the drug, he takes him to the box.
Ryan is spellbound as he enters the superposition. However, Jason 2 leaves Ryan in another reality as he realizes that Ryan might expose his secret. Jason 2 then returns to Reality 1 and seals up the box.
The episode also shows Jason Dessen (Joel Edgerton) and Amanda Lucas (Alice Braga) switching between realities trying to find Jason's original one.
What to expect in 'Dark Matter' Episode 7?
The drama will escalate in 'Dark Matter' Episode 7 as Daniela is suspicious of Jason 2. The disappearance of Ryan Holder may trigger her doubts, prompting her to continue spying on Jason 2.
Meanwhile, Jason and Amanda will land in a beautiful reality. It would be interesting to see if they'll be drawn to the perfection of that world or will continue their mission to return home, which is impossible as the box is now sealed.
