'Dancing With The Stars': Tyra blames 'technical glitch' for name mix-up, fans ask 'you mean you messed up?'

Tyra Banks could not stop apologizing for what happened last week and fans were tired of hearing it

Last week 'Dancing With The Stars' saw a Steve Harvey moment take place when Tyra Banks called out wrong names to be in the bottom two. Tyra had been reading the names that were written on her card and she soon realized that there were three people in the bottom two. Tyra announced that Anne Heche and Keo Motsep were in the bottom two with Vernon Davis and Peta Murgatroyd. Moments later, she clarified that Monica Aldama and Val Chmerkovskiy, whom she previously announced as safe, were actually in the bottom two with Heche and Motsep, leaving Davis and Murgatroyd safe.

Once the mistake was corrected, Tyra could not stop apologizing and told viewers that all these things happen when a show is going on live. In the latest episode (October 12), Tyra decided to apologize once again for the mistake that had occurred. She blamed the mistake on "technical glitch" and admitted it was time to move on. Despite talking about focusing on the show, viewers noticed Tyra had been apologizing many times and putting the blame on a technical fault. Some of them were not ready to accept her mistake as one wrote, "Technical glitch? you mean you messed up Tyra??"



 



 

Another said, "Everybody: Tyra, was the glitch last week your fault?" while sharing a meme that said, "I don't take any responsibility at all." Another got fed up with Tyra mentioning last week's scene again as the comment read, "I bet Tyra mentions the “technical difficulties” at least two more times before the end of the show."

"Nobody: Tyra: there was a technical issue it wasn’t my fault this is live Tv omg," said another. Tyra has been receiving a lot of backlash ever since she became the host of the show. Fans have not been happy with her performance and have been calling her out on social media. 



 



 

Some even started petitions to have her removed from the show. Recently, fans could not get over what Tyra wore for the episode while others questioned the countless costume changes she had been having. Even though Tyra has admitted she needs to do better, people have been harsh with her.

Some want host Tom Bergeron to be brought back as they thought no one can fill his shoes. Will Tyra manage to win over the viewers or will this season go with them hating on her?

'Dancing With The Stars' airs on Mondays at 9 pm ET on ABC.
