Hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews have held the show together for years with their flawless compèring. However, their run on the show has ended and Tom himself confirmed the news as he tweeted, "Just informed @DancingABC will be continuing without me. It's been an incredible 15 year run and the most unexpected gift of my career. I'm grateful for that and for the lifelong friendships made. That said, now what am I supposed to do with all of these glitter masks?"

In a joint statement from ABC and BBC studios to Fox News, the networks also announced that Erin who started hosting since 2014 will not be returning. Even though there was no explanation offered for the sudden ouster, the networks assured in their statement that, "Bergeron will forever be part of the 'Dancing with the Stars' family."

The show has signed on Tyra Banks as the new host and announced the same via their social media. "Please join us in welcoming @tyrabanks as #DWTS host. Thank you to @Tom_Bergeron and @ErinAndrews for so many seasons of glitz, glamour, and good times!" read the tweet posted to 'DWTS' Twitter account on July 15.

"I've been a fan of DWTS since its beginning ... The fun mixed with raw emotion, seeing celebrities push past their comfort zones, the sizzling dance performances ... it's always transported me to my days of turning it up 10 notches on the catwalk," said Tyra about her participation, reports CNN.

The series is produced by BBC Studios’ Los Angeles production arm. Andrew Llinares and Tyra Banks are executive producers.

There is no trailer yet for this Season 29 of 'Dancing with the Stars'. MEA WorldWide (MEAWW) will update the article once it's released.
