'The Bachelorette' star Kaitlyn Bristowe had her fans waiting in anticipation in the second episode of 'Dancing With the Stars' Season 29, as there was a lot of uncertainty surrounding her performance due to a leg injury which she sustained only a few moments before the show began.

At the beginning of the episode, the host Tyra Banks shocked viewers as she revealed that Bristowe was suffering from a leg injury and that they weren't sure if she would be able to dance. However, the reality television star managed to get on the stage and deliver a mind-blowing performance with her dancing partner Artem Chigvintsev despite her condition.

Addressing her injury, Bristowe said that dancing has been her passion since an early age and she wouldn't miss out on an opportunity to perform before the audience even if she's in pain. Despite the ankle injury, she and her pro-dancer partner put up a brilliant act by performing the foxtrot to 'I Hope You Dance' by Lee Ann Womack. Not only did her resilience earn her the viewers' appreciation but it has also left many of her fans emotional. She and Chigvintsev received a total of 22 points for their performance, rushing them to the top of the rank chart.

One fan tweeted, "So proud of @kaitlynbristowe and @artemchigvintse for pushing through despite an injury and coming out with the first 8 of the season! So excited to see what you continue to do  #TeamWillYouAcceptThisDance #DWTS ".  Another wrote, "My girl Kaitlyn Bristowe had a ankle injury and she finds a way to get the highest score of the night. @kaitlynbristowe @artemchigvintse".  While one emotional fan wrote, "@kaitlynbristowe pulling at the heart strings!
