'Dancing with the Stars': Jesse Metcalfe and Sharna Burgess' act has fans calling it the 'sexiest partnership'

'Dancing With The Stars' Season 29 premiered tonight (Sept 14). It's a pandemic friendly season with no studio audiences and a lot of distance between Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba and new judge Derek Hough at the judges' table. The celebrity contestants on this season include Carole Baskin, Nelly, AJ McLean, Monica Aldama, Jesse Metcalfe, Anne Heche, Johnny Weir, Vernon Davis, Kaitlyn Bristowe, Justina Machado, Charles Oakley, Jeannie Mai, Skai Jackson, Chrishell Stause and Nev Schulman. Even though these names as well as the participating pro-dancers were announced well in advance, there was still a surprise element for 'DWTS' fans to look forward to. They had to wait till the premiere tonight to find out which celebrity and pro-dancer were paired up, as is tradition, every season.

So far, half of the pairs have already taken to the stage and 'DWTS' fans have already chosen one of the pairs and branded them as the sexiest partnership of the season. It's none other than actor Jesse Metcalfe and his pro-dancer partner Sharna Burgess. Sharna and Jesse took to the dance floor with the Quickstep. The latter was extremely nervous during rehearsals, it wasn't an easy task for him at all and while talking to the camera, he admitted that he was trying to play it cool in front of Sharna who is 'DWTS' pro-dancer royalty. However, when Jesse and Sharna stepped on the stage for the final performance, they exhibited sheer brilliance with their dance and not only did they manage to impress the judges who were quite dismayed with the other performances that had taken place before them, but even the audiences at home who took to Twitter to praise their efforts. 

"JESSE AND @SharnaBurgess OH MY GOD THE MOST BEAUTIFUL TEAM!! #DWTS #DWTS29 #DancingWithTheStars #TeamAllIn," wrote a fan. "Jesse has potential for sure and the quickstep was so cute!! I have missed sharna’s choreography so much #DWTS #DWTS29," praised another viewer.  "Jesse & Sharna is the sexiest dance partnership so far!  #DWTS #DWTS29," wrote another excited fan. Praising the dancing duo, one wrote: "Jesse know his DWTS history! He and Sharna are THE couple! #DWTSPremiere #DWTS #DWTS29."
