'Dancing With The Stars' Season 28: Karamo Brown and Jenna Johnson win back the judges with a 'breezy' contemporary routine

Karamo Brown and Jenna Johnson's contemporary performance was praised as one of his best in the season so far.

Karamo Brown and Jenna Johnson failed to impress the judges last week as they scored a 21 out of 30 but it looks like Karamo knew that he is going to put on his dancing shoes and impress the judges with his performance. Initially, it was reported that Karamo would be performing a rumba after he did the samba in last week's episode.

But it looks like the 'Queer Eye' star decided to turn things a little bit as he and Jenna decided to win the judges with contemporary dance. Karamo's performance had an emotional connect to his life as the story depicted the emotions he went through when his dad rejected him after he came out as gay.

Previously, Karamo's dance performance was inspired by his relationship with his sons. Looks like the reality star is taking inspiration from his life and bringing magic to the floor. Karamo's performance did not fail to wow the judges as they felt a rush of emotions going through them while watching his performance.

Len Goodman was captivated by how breezy the entire dance looked. He applauded the pair for their lifts and how effortlessly they danced their way through the entire song. Bruno Tonioli also expressed similar thoughts as he remarked that the dance reflected the emotions that Karamo was going through.

He added that Karamo's performance this week showed that he had the dedication that he needed in order to survive the competition. Carrie Ann Inaba also felt love and compassion which she thought was flowing throughout the dance.

She praised the reality star for not missing a single step and feeling the music as he performed. She gave the pair a 9 while the other two judges scored the duo an 8. It gave them a total score of 25. It is definitely a better score than what the duo got last week. Hopefully, next week Karamo's performance will be the one that is top-ranked.
