'Dancing With The Stars': Nikki Bella lauds Artem Chigvintsev after winning season, says 'beyond proud of you'

Artem Chigvintsev and Kaitlyn Bristowe have won the mirrorball trophy! The pair were announced as the winners of this season after having a season that was filled with ups and downs. Artem and Kaitlyn had to struggle to stay in the competition as the judges had mixed reactions to their dance. 

When the pair first performed, the judges thought they had a high chance of winning the show. However, as time went by, Kailtyn and Artem struggled to maintain the same scores throughout. There were many instances where the judges were quick to pinpoint some of the mistakes in Kailtyn's performance. 

She admitted it was hard to hear the criticism as it was slowly affecting her performance. However, she managed to get back on track to prove to people that she deserved to stay in the game. Their performance also became the cause for judge Carrie Ann Inaba to be under fire as people thought she was extremely harsh with criticism for the pair. 

Despite this, the pair managed to lift themselves help and prove to people that they still have a lot of stamina left in them to win the game. In the season finale of the show, Kaitlyn and Artem managed to have a perfect score for both their performance. The pair brought their best moves to the dance floor. 

The judges were impressed with their performance and admitted they had come a long way. Their practice finally paid off as they were announced as the winners. Nikki Bella was quick to applaud Artem and Kaitlyn for their win. She took it to her social media to congratulate the two as she shared a video with sister Brie Bella and her son Matteo. 

"Yay!!! @theartemc & @kaitlynbristowe !!!! Wow-what an amazing season!! And way to conquer a dream!! Both of you! Love you girly! And Artem love you so much! Beyond proud of you! I know what this truly means to you! And my heart couldn’t be happier for you!!" she wrote. 

Nikki was not the only one who was happy with this announcement. Fans took to social media to congratulate the new winners. "I'm ecstatic for @kaitlynbristowe and @artemchigvints. I enjoyed watching her this season. This is also Artem's first win so I know he's so excited. #DWTS let him go & he came back & made major moves all the way to the mirror ball trophy," read one comment. "I’m so HAPPY FOR ARTEM. HE DESERVES IT!!!" wrote another. "SO HAPPY FOR ARTEM!!!!!! No one more deserving!!!!!!!!! Go Kaitlyn and ARTEM!!" wrote another.  

The season finale of the show aired on November 23 at 8 pm ET on ABC.
