'Dancing With The Stars' Season 28: Lauren Alaina and Gleb Savchenko's heartwarming performance leaves the judges and fans feeling emotional
Lauren Alaina and Gleb Savchenko wowed the judges last week with their performance as it landed them a good score of 27 out of 30. This week, the duo performed a contemporary dance routine and all eyes were set on them and people anticipated the show's first best score.
Lauren was dedicating the performance to her stepdad on the occasion of his death anniversary. Her dad passed away when he was 47. She also chose the song "Other Side" inspired by him. With such an emotional connection to the music and dance, there was no doubt that Lauren was going to bring out the best in her act.h
The judges were left speechless as a sudden burst of emotions took over them after watching the performance. Carrie Ann Inaba stated that she thought Lauren was a brave woman who remarkably put her story in the form of dance.
She further added that her performance had touched her heart. Len Goodman also expressed similar emotions as he stated that the dance was filled with emotion and reflected how much she loved and cared about her step-father.
Bruno Tonioli, on the other hand, was happy to see how much love and trust was put into the dance. Hearing the comments made by the judges everyone had their fingers crossed hoping that they would finally see this season's perfect score.
Unfortunately, that did not happen. Carrie and Bruno gave a 9 while Len gave an 8. Which made them get a total score of 26 out of 30. Despite these scores, fans too were mesmerized by the performance.
