'Dancing With The Stars' season 28: Hannah Brown, Sean Spicer, Lamar Odom part of celebrity cast line-up

Time to dust off those sequins and put on your dancing shoes, because after what feels like ages, 'Dancing With The Stars' is all set to grace our screens with season 28. So before the season comes to our screens this September, the show makers announced the celebrity line-up 'Good Morning America', but the pro dance partner line-up has been kept under wraps. So who are the stars vying for the mirror ball trophy this season? Let's take a look.
Lauren Alaina
Lauren Alaina is a singer, songwriter, and actress who hails from Rossville, Georgia. Alaina was the runner-up on season 10 of American Idol. In October 2011 she released her studio debut album titled 'Wildflower'. She later released her second album on January 27, 2017, and her album's title track reached No 1 on the Country Airplay chart. Later that year she won her second No 1 when she topped five Billboard charts with 'What Ifs' a duet she did with her friend and former classmate Kane Brownon. Recently she released a duet titled "Town Ain’t Big Enough,” with Chris Young.

Christie Brinkley
Christie Brinkley is an iconic model, actress, entrepreneur, illustrator, television personality, photographer, writer, and designer. She is also an activist for human and animal rights and the environment. Brinkley became famous after she appeared in the late 1970s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues. She also appeared on three consecutive covers from 1979. Brinkley also spent 25 years as the face of CoverGirl and has appeared in over 500 magazine covers.

Ally Brooke
Ally Brooke, the former Fifth Harmony member started her career as a solo artist in 2017 after she featured on Lost Kings 'Look at Us Now' alongside rapper ASAP Ferg. She also collaborated with DJ Topic on a single titled 'Perfect' in 2018. After the news of Fifth Harmony's hiatus was revealed, she collaborated with Kris Kross Amsterdam and Messiah in 2018 and released Vamanos. In 2019, she released 'Low Key' featuring Tyga. This is also her first single from her forthcoming debut album. Recently she released a single titled 'Lips Don't Lie'.

Hannah Brown
Hannah Brown rose to fame after she appeared in 'The Bachelor' season 23. After she was sent home right after she visited Colton Underwood's family, Brown returned as 'The Bachelorette' for season 15. During the season finale, she got engaged to Jed Wyatt but broke off the engagement after the news of him having a girlfriend back home was revealed. Brown was also crowned Miss Alabama USA 2018 and competed in Miss USA 2018.

Karamo Brown
Karamo Brown currently stars as the culture expert in Queer Eye on Netflix. Karamo is also a television host, reality television personality, author, and activist. He first began his career in 2004 on the MTV reality show 'The Real World: Philadelphia'. He also became the first out gay black man on reality TV. Karamo also hosted MTV's Are You The One: Second Chances.

Kate Flannery
Kate Flannery is known for her role as Meredith Palmer on NBC's 'The Office'. Prior to that, Flannery appeared in 'The Bernie Mac Show', 'Boomtown', 'Curb Your Enthusiasm', and 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' She was also a judge on 'Iron Chef America' and appeared on the Jay Leno show portraying Wendy in a skit. Later she appeared ABC's 'American Housewife' as Crossing Guard Sandy. Flannery also played a janitor in an episode of 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine', she appeared on 'New Girl' and 'Mary+Jane', and in 2017 had a recurring role on Cartoon Network's Steven Universe.

Ray Lewis
The former football linebacker, Ray Lewis played for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League for all of his 17-year career. During his college days, he played for the University of Miami and earned All-America honors. He was drafted by the Ravens in 1996 in the first round of the NFL Draft and retired in 2012. Lewis also attempted to join NASCAR racing but sadly failed.

Kel Mitchell
Kel Mitchell is an actor, stand-up comedian, musician, singer, and rapper. Mitchell is known for his work on the Nickelodeon sketch comedy series, 'All That'. He is also known for his role of Kel Kimble on the Nickelodeon sitcom Kenan & Kel. He also voiced Dutch in Disney XD's cartoon Motorcity. He also starred as Double G on Nickelodeon's Game Shakers.

Lamar Odom
The professional basketball player is a former member of the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. He won NBC championships in 2009 and 2010. Lamar was named the NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 2011. In 2004 he played on the United States national team and won the bronze medal in Olympics. He also won a gold medal in the FIBA World Championship in 2010 and is also famous for his turbulent marriage with ex-wife Khloe Kardashian.

Sean Spicer
Sean Spicer is a political aide who served as the 28th White House Press Secretary and as White House Communications Director under President Donald Trump in 2017. He was also the communication director of the Republican National Committee from the year 2011 to 2017, and its chief strategist from the year 2015 to 2017. He also released a book titled The Briefing: Politics, the Press, and the President in July 2018. iOn hearing about Spicer's participation in the show Trump took to Twitter to praise him, writing: "Just heard that Sean Spicer will be on 'Dancing with the Stars.' He will do great. A terrific person who loves our Country dearly!"

James Van Der Beek
James Van Der Beek is best known for his role in the WB series 'Dawson's Creek'. He played the role of Dawson Leery. Beek also played a fictionalized version of himself on the cult ABC sitcom'Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23'. He starred in 'CSI: Cyber' as FBI Special Agent Elijah Mundo. He also played the role of Matt Bromley on the FX drama 'Pose'. Beek has also appeared in films like 'Varsity Blues' and 'The Rules of Attraction'.

Mary Wilson
Mary Wilson is a singer who is known as a founding member and longest member of the Supremes. After she left the band in 1977, the group disbanded. Ever since then, Wilson has released three solo albums, five singles, and two best-selling autobiographies. She also became a musicians' rights activist and a musical theater performer. Wilson also organized various museum displays of the Supremes' famed costumes. And finally, in 1988 she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
