'Dancing With The Stars': Chrishell Stause gets her first 9 but viewers think she did 'little to NOTHING'

Chrishell Stause and Gleb Savchenko have been wowing the judges with their performance and the latest episode (October 26) was no different. Today's episode saw the cast taking on the role of villains and making sure they honor them in the perfect horror way. Chrishell chose to portray 'Maleficent'. 

The reality star confessed that she had been in love with Angelina Jolie and was excited about taking on a character of her. At the same time, Chrishell admitted she had portrayed an evil character in 'Days Of Our Lives' and was looking forward to taking on another character this week. 

The pair did not miss a chance to show off their wicked look as they got on the dance floor. Judges were impressed by Chrishell as they thought she made sure that her character was intact throughout her performance. Carrie Ann Inaba applauded her for being able to stay in character throughout the dance. 

However, she did add that there were some steps that could be improved. She thought the performance carried the story of 'Maleficent' throughout the dance. Derek Hough loved the performance as well and thought Chrishell played the part really well.

Bruno Tonioli had similar thoughts. He was impressed with the performance and how Chirshell did the role so well. However, he thought there were some loose ends in the routine that she needs to work on. Carrie Ann and Derek went on to give her a 9, making it her first 9 on the season, while Bruno gave her an 8. 



 



 

Chrishell was excited to get a 9 for the first time. However, fans were not. They were quick to express their feeling and admitted that the routine did not deserve such a high score. "I’m sorry but Jenni’s Paso was better than Chrishell’s," read one comment. "I like Chrishell and all but if their dance deserved 9's then Johnny's deserved 15s," read another. 



 



 

"Hahaha! Chrishell Stause did little to NOTHING, but take a couple of steps & occasionally throw out a kick or leg, while her partner, Glib, did ALL the dancing & the judges still gave her a 26!? Yikes. Very obvious #DWTS & @ABCNetwork knows who they want moving forward," read one comment. "Chrishell does not deserve a 9 she was barely dancing," said another. 

'Dancing With The Stars' airs on Mondays at 8 pm ET on ABC.
