‘Dancing With the Stars’: Nev Schulman wants baby No 3 with wife Laura Perlongo, says 'now's the time'

The ‘Catfish’ host Nev Schulman is crushing it on the dance reality show ‘Dancing With the Stars’, but he’s also looking forward to some serious family time when the show wraps on Monday, November 23.

“I’m sure Nev’s very excited to have a moment to reconnect with his family he’s been gone from,” his partner, Jenna Johnson, told Us Weekly. Nev, 36, responded, “I’m excited to start trying for baby No. 3 myself. Now’s the time!” During the semi-finals of the show that aired on November 16, the pair received two perfect 30s.

Schulman and wife Laura Perlongo, who recently celebrated their third wedding anniversary, share two children, Cleo, (4) and Beau, (21 months). Schulman and Perlongo met on Instagram back in 2015, when they exchanged DMs. Schulman asked Perlongo to dinner and picked her up on his motorcycle. They did break up briefly, according to Schulman, in an interview with Us Weekly. He felt he was almost ‘too in love’ and, having been recently hurt by a previous relationship, wasn’t sure he was ready for something new. He went on to admit that he screwed up with Perlongo and had to win her back. Perlongo did eventually take him back; about the same time, she became pregnant.

“I just got out of a thing, and I had been damaged by that, and I felt that maybe I was all messed up, and I wasn’t ready,” Schulman explained. “I screwed it up and then I had to win her back.” Perlongo added, “I don’t think I officially took him back until we got pregnant.” The two married in Schulman’s father’s backyard on July 22, 2017, in East Hampton, New York. Prior to walking down the yard/aisle, the couple’s engagement lasted about 14 months.

 Last month, Schulman dedicated his rumba set to Celine Dion‘s “Because You Loved Me,” to his wife, who he married in 2017. “I am here because you are here for me,” he said to Perlongo during the October episode. “Honestly, I know every mom is the best mom in the world, but the greatest joy for me is watching Laura with our kids. She is so fantastic, and they are so lucky that they get to spend time with her. They really are so happy and so loved,” the star said.
