Patrick wants only one thing in the entire world — to become a knight. Unfortunately, the task is not going to be as easy as he hopes because his minimal training, bullying siblings and a kingdomful of self-indulgent narcissists are just a few of the many obstacles between him and knighthood. It's going to be a rough season for Patrick, but immense fun for just about everyone else.

From the makers of 'Robot Chicken', John Harvatine IV and Tom Root, comes an all-new claymation series set in a medieval fantasy world. Starring Nicholas Hoult as the lead Patrick, the series also boasts the vocal talent of Adam Pally, Luke Evans, Seth Green, Tara Strong, Tony Hale, Yvette Nicole Brown, Jameela Jamil and more. Poor Patrick's world is turned on its head when he finds out the noble court that he aspired to join is filled with the randiest of royalty who are more interested in their own lives than in noble quests.

As the only person in his family with a noble ambition, Patrick has become the black sheep and it may not be long before his ideals are scrubbed away entirely by the palace's filth. Meanwhile, he will be facing war, plague, monsters and a surprising variety of terrible smells as he pursues his own quest to become a knight, and at some point, he's got to be asking himself — is any of this even worth it?

The official synopsis for the episode reads: "Created by Robot Chicken's John Harvatine IV and Tom Root, Crossing Swords stars Nicholas Hoult as Patrick, a good-hearted peasant who lands a coveted squire position at the royal castle. However, his dream job quickly turns into a nightmare when he learns his beloved kingdom is run by a hornet's nest of horny monarchs, crooks and charlatans. Even worse, Patrick’s valor made him the black sheep in his family, and now his criminal siblings have returned to make his life hell. War, murder, full frontal nudity — who knew brightly colored peg people led such exciting lives?"

All episodes of 'Crossing Swords' Season 1 will be available to stream June 12, on Hulu.
