This article contains spoilers for 'Crisis on Infinite Earths, Part 3'

As far as reveals and surprises go, the Arrowverse has managed to add ample insight and treat fans. The story features three Supermen, Clark Kent (Tom Welling) from 'Smallville', Earth-96's Superman (Brandon Routh) and Earth-38 Superman (Tyler Hoechlin).

In focus here is Routh's 'Kingdom Come' Superman.  Routh is no stranger to the Man of Steel, having portrayed the character in 2006's 'Superman Returns'. This time around, however, he will be playing a different version of the Kryptonian, one based on Mark Waid and Alex Ross' 1996 miniseries 'Kingdom Come'.

And finally, the logo that made waves is finally explained. In one of the scenes, Iris (Candice Patton) asks him about the usage of the color black in the Superman logo. To which Routh explains that even in darkness, there was hope.

This also comes as one of the inspirational scenes in the episodes as what follows is massive mayhem. The Anti-Monitor attacks the heroes and in a last-ditch effort, Pariah (Tom Cavanagh) teleports the Paragons to the Vanishing Point.

Earth-96's Superman was also the Paragon of Truth who was replaced by Lex Luthor when Lex used the Book of Destiny to avoid the apocalypse.

'Crisis on Infinite Earths' Part 3 ended things on a pretty confusing note with the Paragons being sent to the Vanishing Point to escape the Anti-Monitor.  However, Lex's presence and his intellect may just be what the heroes need to figure out a way and get out of the Vanishing Point.

What are your thoughts on Routh's 'Kingdom Come' logo and Lex Luthor replacing the Man of Steel as a Paragon? Let us know. 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' Part 4 will premiere on January 14, 2020, on The CW.
