The Duggar family has always come together when it is time to celebrate and the Christmas pageant was no different. The Duggars decided to put together a play and invite their close friends. However, before making it to the stage, they knew that a lot of preparation had to go into making the show a good once.

Jenna Duggar decided to take charge of the whole thing but feared that they did not have enough time. Right from deciding who does what, the family also had to look into if they had the costumes and decorations to make the show a big hit. Seeing how there was a lot to do, Jenna admitted that they should have started preparing things beforehand.

Unfortunately, they had to work their magic in the little time they had in hand. To make things easier, Jenna decided to give everyone a specific task. Hoping that things would work out this way, Jenna and the others start rehearsing for the play. Luckily, since they are many people in the family, Jenna thought it was helpful to have everyone come together to make things work.

The little girls took charge of costumes. They made use of clothes that they had at home, bought a few from the thrift shop and used old sheets for the play. The Duggars managed to have costumes ready on time, but the next task up their sleeve was to make sure that everyone knew the part they were playing.

Jeremiah Duggar was chosen as the narrator since he had the loudest voice. Jeremiah was happy as he did not want to act in the play. Meanwhile, Jim Bob was the donkey. He was happy to play the part as he got to give the little children a ride. Once everyone had their roles in the play, it was finally time for pageant night.

Everyone had their places and costumes ready. The day ended on a good note as everyone played their part well. The play ended with the guests singing a Christmas carol together. Meanwhile, Michelle Duggar and Job Bob got a Christmas gift in the form of a picture of all their grandchildren. Undoubtedly, the Duggars had a merry celebration at home.

'Counting On' airs on Tuesdays at 9 pm ET on TLC.
