San Diego Comic-Con is a pilgrimage for ardent fans, who flock to the event that's spread over three days to cosplay, get glimpses of their favorite actors, filmmakers, learn about the upcoming shows and films and buy merchandise. This event is known for having hilarious and memorable panel discussions. However, in light of the coronavirus pandemic that spread its pall of gloom over this year, 2020’s event will be held virtually, as obviously crowds in enclosed spaces is a death-wish in the current situation. Well, something better than nothing, considering the event was almost going to get canceled.

Comic-Con @Home 2020, the virtual version of the event, will allow comic book lovers to log in from around the world free of charge to watch panel discussions, Q&As and sneak-peeks at upcoming seasons. Over 350 panels featuring actors, writers and more famous names from the worlds of television, movies, gaming and comics are expected. These panels usually reveal highly-anticipated teasers, trailers and news updates.

Despite all the numerous delays of awaited films and others in production such as 'Wonder Woman 1984' and 'Black Widow', we can still expect the online panels to give us information and let us know the current status of these films, even though most of them won't be ready as yet. But you can expect actors, producers and filmmakers from starry Hollywood blockbuster panels, along with small indie ones too. There's enough to go around for everyone--- Marvel, 'The Walking Dead', 'Bob's Burgers' and more!

According to The Wrap, all the panels will be prerecorded, so there won't be live fan interaction with the panelists. But don't worry, some shows such as animated Netflix show 'The Dragon Prince', have invited fans to submit questions for their panels.

The event will take place from July 22 to 26.

How and where to watch
