The CW's 'The 100' is in its final season and if we weren't already emotional for the show's final panel in San Diego's virtual Comic-Con this year, we certainly were after many actors who played fan-favorite characters came back to say, "May we meet again." Some of the actors who returned were Alycia Debnam-Carey, Christopher Larkin, and Zach McGowan.

The first actor who played a deceased character to show up during the virtual Comic-Con in a pre-recorded message was Sara Thompson, who played Josephine Lightbourne in the sixth season. We all burst into collective joy when we saw none other than Alessandro Juliani -- who played Raven's mentor Sinclair -- show up. While Sinclair was a minor character, seeing him brought back memories of the initial days of the show.

Perhaps one of the most rewarding clips during the session was Christopher Larkin's audition tape from March 2013 when he read for Monty Green. The character died -- after living to a ripe old age and probably only one of two characters to do so -- at the end of the fifth season. Larkin, meanwhile, simply said, "May we meet again." Chelsey Reist who played Monty's girlfriend, Harper McIntyre (and the only other character to live to a ripe old age) also had a message for fans, having played a minor, yet "kickass female" character.

Eli Goree was on 'The 100' a long time ago -- his character was killed off early on in the first season, but it was that death that truly sparked the flourishing of the show -- also came on for a message. Micheal Beach, who played Charles Pike, showed up next.

Other appearances came from Nadia Hilker, Isaiah Washington, and Paige Turco, but the most significant appearance was undoubtedly Alycia Debnam-Carey, whose character Lexa still remains in the hearts of many viewers. Debnam-Carey seemed to acknowledge the heartbreak brought on by her character's demise and said that the show was a "hugely important" part of her life and career. She also told the fans that Lexa lives on through the fans.

'The 100' will return for its final season's midseason premiere on August 5 on The CW at 8/7c.
