'Sextuplets': Marlon Wayans's Netflix comedy is going to surprise you in more ways than you think

'Sextuplets' tells the story of a man named Alan played by Wayans who is embarking on a personal journey to meet his birth mother before the birth of his first child.

The new Netflix comedy ' Sextuplets' starring the famous Marlon Wayans is coming out on August 16th, 2019. The actor is known for his work in comedy and now he is going to be a part of a hilarious movie with him playing all the six siblings who are a part of the 'sextuplets'.  The upcoming American film has been directed by Michael Tiddes from a screenplay written by Mike Glock, Rick Alvarez, and Wayans himself. 



 

'Sextuplets' tells the story of a man named Alan played by Wayans who is embarking on a personal journey to meet his birth mother before the birth of his first child. When Alan meets his brother Russell ( Spiral Jackson) it was revealed to him that he was born a sextuplet. After this shocking discovery, Alan decides to reach out to his five other siblings who are all played by Wayans. Together with his brother Russell, they set out on a road trip to track the whereabouts of the rest of his family that they have never known. Alan then quickly realizes he has bitten off way more than he can chew.

With this Netflix comedy, he’s reuniting with his Marlon TV series star Bresha Webb. Director Tiddes who worked previously with Wayans for another Netflix feature film 'Naked' is back at the helm. This movie will also mark the fifth time that Wayans and Tiddes have colluded together as a director and actor. The other movies that they have collaborated on were ' A Haunted House', ' A Haunted House 2' and 'Fifty Shades of Black'. Wayans is producing this movie along with Rick Alvarez under the Wayans Alvarez Productions banner also accompanied by Nathan Reimann. 

Wayans has made a statement saying " Excited to be back in business with Netflix on yet another project. I love how they embrace comedy and diversity. I am looking forward to doing the thing I love the most....comedy"

The movie is going to be filled with comedy and have an underlying message which will show its viewers the importance of family and how a family can be a nuisance at times, especially when you didn't even know they existed.
