Are you a fan of dance reality shows? If yes, then CBS is set to take you on a journey packed with epic dance performances and emotional moments with their upcoming reality series ‘Come Dance with Me’. The show has a really intriguing concept and will see 12 young and talented dancers showing their skills in front of esteemed judges, including Jenna Dewan, Dexter Mayfield, and Tricia Miranda.

To make things even more interesting, each dancer will have an untrained adult partner who will be dancing with them on the show. He or she can be anyone from their family or someone who has been supporting their talent. The pairs will have to perform their best to get a chance to win the grand prize of $100,000.

One of the participants who will be setting the stage on fire is none other than Ava Otto, an 11-year-old dancer-turned-actress. She will be coming on the show with her dad, John, who is also a very renowned musician. Let’s dig in deeper and get to know more about them.

Who is Ava Otto?

The Los Angeles-based dancer-turned-actress was just 5 years of age when she began dancing and realized that she loves performing. That same year, 2015, she signed her first job with Darlene Koldenhoven and sang with the Grammy award-winning artist. When it comes to dancing, she knows several dance forms such as contemporary, ballet/pointe, jazz, hip-hop, and lyrical. Apart from them, she also excels in musical theater.

Ava has also earned many national titles, top placements, and top scholarships.

She is also a dance photography model and was chosen to be an AS Dancewear Mentee in 2020. Her Instagram feed is filled with posts where she endorses the brand’s apparel by showing her amazing dance moves. She is also an outspoken advocate for anti-bullying organizations and even started her own non-profit, Passion Project X, which focuses on providing various forms of support to others who are pursuing their dreams.

In her free time, she enjoys vlogging, cooking, long road trips, and even longer naps! Ava will be entering the show with her dad, John Otto, who is known for his drumming skills and when we say that he is good, you got to realize that he plays drums for the popular music group Limp Bizkit. He was the founding member of the rock band and has been nominated for 3 Grammys, including Best Rock Performance. The band sold over 40 million copies worldwide and became a phenomenon during the late 90s and early 2000s.

Ava shares a strong bond with her father and considers him to be an “amazing role model”. She can’t wait for the show to arrive and even though John doesn’t have a dance background, Ava feels that people “can’t get rid” of them so easily.

Will they be able to win everyone’s heart with their dance moves? The answer to that question will be given when the dance reality series arrives on CBS.

‘Come Dance with Me’ premieres exclusively on CBS on Friday, April 15 at 8 pm EST.
