'Christmas in Evergreen: Bells Are Ringing': Meet Rukiya Bernard, Antonio Cayonne and rest of the cast of Hallmark film

As Michelle's wedding approaches, Hannah steps up to help finish the launch of the new Evergreen museum while questioning her relationship and future with Elliot

'Christmas Countdown' is in full force, and 'Christmas in Evergreen: Bells Are Ringing' is set to bring you a bit of turbulence in love. While Hannah is set to help with the Evergreen museum launch, she also starts to question her future with Elliot. Here is the cast brining the holiday movie to life.

Peete is an actress, author, talk show host, activist and philanthropist. 'Christmas in Evergreen: Bells Are Ringing' is not her first collaboration with Hallmark, as Peete was seen in 'Meet the Peetes', Hallmark Mysteries & Movies 'Morning Show Mysteries' and most recently in 'Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa' and 'Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy' where she played the role of Michelle Lansing as well. She is known for her works on '21 Jump Street' (1987-1991), 'For Your Love' (1998-2002), and 'Howard: A New Breed of Hero' (1986).

Her other 2020 works include 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit' and 'The Christmas Doctor' (2020). She also has a release titled 'Runnin' with Johnson' in pre-production - she will play the role of Ms. Godfret. She also has credits in big production TV series such as 'Hangin' with Mr. Cooper' (1992-1997), 'For Your Love' and 'One on One' (2001-2002). As for the current TV series, she plays the role of Christina in 'Mike & Molly' (2011-2014) and as Tamara Jones in 'Chicago Fire' (2016-2017). Peete is also an author and 'Get Your Own Damn Beer, I’m Watching the Game: A Women’s Guide to Loving Pro Football' (2005) won her a Quill Literacy Award in 2006.

The actress has also been nominated for 6 Image Awards - 4 for 'For Your Love', three for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series and one for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, one for 'Love, Inc.' for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series and one for 'Matters of Life & Dating' (2007) for Outstanding Actress in a Television Movie, Mini-Series or Dramatic Special.

Bernard is known for her role as Doc on the TV series 'Van Helsing' (2016-2019), her role as Robin in 'Android Employed' (2018), and is also in HGTV’s 'The Stagers'. Besides 'Christmas in Evergreen: Bells Are Ringing', Bernard played the role of Megan Marquant in 'One Winter Weekend' (2018), as Hannah Tucker in 'Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa' (2018), as Claire in 'Just the Way You Are' (2015), as Agent Hobbs Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ 'Debbie Macomber’s Dashing Through the Snow' (2015) and as Dee Dee in 'The Gourmet Detective'( 2015).

She's also played the role of Sgt King in 'Ungodly Acts' (2015) and Lisa in 'Accidental Obsession' for Lifetime. As for TV, Bernard is known for her works in 'Supernatural' (2011-2017), 'Intruders' (2014), and 'R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour' (2013) along with movies such as 'Wonder' (2017), 'The Cabin in the Woods (2011) and 'Tooth Fairy' (2010). In 2019, the actress won a Leo Award for Best Supporting Performance by a Female in a Dramatic Series for 'Van Helsing' and 2017, she was nominated for a UBCP Award for Best Actress and a Leo Award for Best Lead Performance by a Female in a Dramatic Series for the same production.

Antonio Cayonne as Elliot

Cayonne is an actor and has also worked in theatre as both an actor and a producer. He is known for his roles as Librarian Muhammed in 'The Magicians' (2019), in 'Prison Break' (2017), as Jordan Wilder in 'Chesapeake Shores' (2017-2018), in 'The X-Files' (2018), as Colin Andrews in 'iZombie' (2015-2016). According to Hallmark, Cayonne runs a restaurant group and is "a voice for anti-oppression work". His recent works include 'A Taste of Summer' (2019), 'Darrow & Darrow' (2017-2019), 'Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy' (2019), 'Matching Hearts' (2020), 'Fashionably Yours' (2020) and 'Psych 2: Lassie Come Home' (2020).

Barbara Nivel as Carol Shaw

Barbara Niven is known for her roles as Megan O'Brien in Hallmark Channel primetime series 'Chesapeake Shores' (2016-2019), Rebecca Westridge in 'A Perfect Ending' (2012), Marilyn Monroe in 'The Rat Pack' (1998) and Aunt Candace in the 'Crossword Mysteries' releases. She also played the role of Carol in  'Christmas in Evergreen' (2017) 'Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa' (2018), and 'Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy' (2019). She's also been part of Hallmark Movies & Mysteries releases such as 'Crossword Mysteries: A Puzzle to Die For' (2019), and also in the Hallmark Channel Original Series 'Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove'. Besides being an actress, Nivel is also a celebrity speaker, best-selling author, producer and Ambassador for American Humane.

Colin Lawrence as Thomas

Lawrence has exceptional productions under his belt, such as his role as John 'Preacher' Middleton in Netflix series 'Virgin River' (2019-2020), as Barnes in ABC’s Somewhere Between' (2017), Coach Clayton in The CW’s 'Riverdale' (2017-2019), Brandon Drake in E!’s The Arrangement' (2017), and his role in 'Rogue' (2017). His other works include 'Impastor' (2015-2016), 'Minority Report' (2015), 'Continuum' (2012) and 'Alcatraz' (2012).

Ashley Williams as Allie

Williams is known for her roles as Victoria in 'How I Met Your Mother' (2006-2014), Jannie Gaffigan in 'The Jim Gaffigan Show' (2015-2016), Claire in 'Something Borrowed' (2011), and Dani Andropoulos in the TV series 'As the World Turns' (1995-2000). Her other works include NBC's 'Good Morning Miami' (2002-2004), Lifetimes' 'Montana Sky' (2007), 'Saving Grace' (2009-2010', 'Warehouse 13' (2011), 'Huff' (2006). According to Hallmark, the actress has also produced films for the channel including 'Love on a Limb' (2016), and the upcoming 'Christmas at the Madison' which is in pre-production.

The official synopsis reads, "As Michelle's wedding approaches, Hannah steps up to help finish the launch of the new Evergreen museum while questioning her relationship and future with Elliot."
