Lindsie Chrisley Campbell and her father Todd Chrisley's famous feud has still not died down. The outspoken patriarch and Lindsie apparently stopped talking to each other when she decided to elope with her then-husband Will Campbell. This was way back in 2012 and an episode's premise detailing the Todd-Lindsie squabble read, " [Lindsie] stunned her father, Todd, with her decision to elope and then five months later surprised him even more with the news that she was expecting her first child," according to a Distractify report. Another blow to Todd was when his daughter announced that she and Will were expecting their first baby. Their son Jackson arrived in 2013 and currently is seven years of age.

Will and Lindsie have separated from each other, a lot of times at that. They filed for divorce in 2016, however, they reconnected with each other and are going strong ever since. Technically the divorce proceedings didn't go through and they confirmed their reconciliation in 2018 through social media. In 2019, their marriage once again hit a rough patch as Todd opened up about his daughter's alleged extramarital affairs. This has not managed to cause any damage to Will-Lindsie's relationship, their social media activity confirms the same.

However, Lindsie and Todd's relationship has been wrung through the dryer and there's little to no hope of the two ever seeing eye to eye with each other again. It's reported that Todd just couldn't get over the anger and resentment he felt after Lindsie eloped and news of their break up further rubbed the southerner, the wrong way. In 2019, Lindsie hit back at her father and her half brother Chase, alleging that they obtained a sex tape featuring her that they were threatening to release in case he chose to not lie about a specific incident.

It's believed that this has something to do with her testifying about the family's alleged financial crimes. Todd and his wife Julie face federal tax evasion charges. To sum up their long laundry list of charges, the couple was charged by the IRS for not filing their income taxes on time in 2009, 2011, and 2012, as well as submitting false bank statements and false personal financial statements to banks to obtain multimillion-dollar loans that they apparently used for their own benefit. The couple was accused of owing more than $2M in past-due taxes to the state of Georgia after the couple failed to file state taxes between 2008-2018. The tax evasion charges were later dropped but the battle about the federal charges, 12 of them, still remain intact.

Coming back to Lindsie and Todd's relationship, the former filed a police report after she was allegedly threatened about the sex tape. After this news got out, Todd provided a statement quashing all of these allegations made by Lindsie, in turn revealing alleged scandalous details of his daughter's life in public. "It's heartbreaking and shameful that these kinds of accusations have to be aired in public. We have tried to keep Lindsie's extramarital relationships with [Bachelor Nation stars] Robby Hayes and Josh Murray private for her sake since August of 2016," Todd shared with E! "Sadly, for reasons we can only guess at, she ran to the sheriff's office to accuse her brother of buying a sex tape of her and Robby, which was a complete lie, and now she's telling more lies about me." Todd added, "Although our hearts are broken, Lindsie is our daughter and we will always love her".

Despite the family being embroiled in so many controversies, 'Chrisley Knows Best' still remains to be highly popular with the audiences. Lindsie exited the show in 2017 as she was dealing with a strained relationship with her father as well as her husband. She and Todd both tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this year, and even though the two have reportedly not spoken to each other as they battled the virus, Lindsie was quick to shut down trolls who were spewing negativity about Todd on her page. Does this mean this is the beginning of the end of the rift between the father-daughter duo? Does this hint that Lindsie will make a return to 'Chrisley Knows Best'? Tune in to the show to find out.

Season 8 Part 2 of 'Chrisley Knows Best' airs Thursday's at 10 pm ET on USA Network.
