The 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina' Season 4 -- the last chapter of the much loved, much-appreciated show -- teaser is out. Netflix has also announced the release date of the final season which made fans mad and glad equally. Mad because Netflix has done it again and gone ahead and canceled the show. So all that the release of the teaser and premiere date has done is remind fans of the decision that Netflix made. Also, this is not the first time that Netflix ended up canceling fan-favorite shows. Initially, it was announced that 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina' will have five seasons and the final season would also include a crossover with 'Riverdale'. However, with the cancellation, the crossover will not happen and this is the reason why fans are glad.

Speaking of the cancellation, Netflix has previously canceled shows such as 'The OA' or the recent Canadian show 'Anne with an E' that fans have been petitioning hard to save. This is despite the shows being appreciated by the niche audience and critics alike and the same has occurred with 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina', believe fans. Fans are divided between appreciating the fact that the show is coming to an end when it is performing well and feeling frustrated that the show is being canceled while it is still performing well as they want the creators to extend the show.

Of the fans who loved this decision, one fan on YouTube, in the comments section, shared below the official teaser, "@Sean Coetzee Nah they said it was gonna be 5 parts and on the 5th part there will be a Riverdale crossover. Thank god they ended it before the crossover." Another fan responded, "@Sean Coetzee they just said that on July and a lot of people are commenting about it on Instagram even until now (they think Netflix will renew it like Lucifer). to be fair people are exaggerating......it was gonna end eventually."

One fan tried to clarify that the show was not being canceled but it was ending and wrote, "@Tuna Fish yess now why are people acting like this the show was gonna end in part 4 we knew this for a long time. They are ENDING it. It isn't canceled." However, the fact that the show was originally planned with 5 parts is what loyal fans of the show are stuck on. They believe that the show might not really be ending with season 4 and the creators of the show might stoop to salvaging an ending instead of going with the one that was originally planned.

So one fan responded and said, "Renew the series!! Please stop canceling shows that fans love. They had already planned to have a final 5th season. This is gonna be an incomplete story." Another fan wrote, "The writer or the creator said that they have plans until part 5 where Riverdale and CAOS will crossover but only two seasons greenlit so part 4 is the last part for season two but the creator said it wasn't the end but unfortunately it got cancel and will continue in the comics."
