'Chicago Fire' Season 9 Episode 10: Will Casey leave? A stinging head injury might force him to take a break

‘Chicago Fire’ is undoubtedly one of the most intriguing shows out there. Season nine has been giving a lot of thrilling moments to the viewers and they can’t wait for the next episode to arrive. Fortunately, the next episode of ‘Chicago Fire’ will be telecasted on NBC on March 31, 2021, at 9 pm ET.

‘Chicago Fire’ Season 9 Episode 9 Recap 

The ninth episode of the ongoing season saw Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) dealing with unimaginable pain in his head. He suffers from vision blurriness and short-term memory loss. Casey feels that the injury could be really lethal for him and traumatize him. Meanwhile, Casey’s sister, Christie Casey (Nicole Forester), comes to town for seeing what their late uncle Jake has left them.

Uncle Jake has left them a watch worth $80,000, but Casey decides not to sell it.

On the other hand, Mouch (Christian Stolte) tries to show off his skills during technical rescue awareness training at Firehouse 33. However, the chief (Eamonn Walker) is not happy with how Mouch doesn’t obey his orders. As a result, Mouch doesn’t receive his certification. A few moments later, the chief gives him his certificate and tells him that he (Mouch) has always been a hero.

The episode ends with Christie telling Casey that he should keep Uncle Jake’s watch and see a doctor about his headaches.

‘Chicago Fire’ Season 9 Episode 10 Spoilers 

According to the promo, the episode, titled ‘One Crazy Shift’, will see 51 dealing a series of suspicious fires in the nearby area. Meanwhile, Casey is clearly having problems with his head injury. He is in pain and fans are hoping that nothing bad happens to him. The promo also sees a truck catching fire and the team getting ready to deal with it.

In the episode, we are going to witness a full set of creepy fires that have started out of the blue. This causes our group at 51 to go on a search for the cause. It will be a busy as well as a surprising day for the officers.

The episode’s official synopsis reads, “A series of suspicion fires send 51 on a search for the cause. Meanwhile, Casey continues down a troubling past. Mouch is looking to make his long-awaited dream come true.”

‘Chicago Fire’ returns to NBC for a new episode on every Wednesday at 9 pm ET.
