'Celebrity Family Feud' Season 6 went on a break unexpectedly after airing its July 12 episode. Post that, ABC Network had announced that fresh episodes from the season would return in September but this time it's shifting to a new night as opposed to the regular Sundays. Here's all you need to know about the show.
'Celebrity Family Feud' Season 6 Part 2 will start airing on Thursday, September 24, 2020. But before that, a special episode featuring Emmy Award winners Ray Romano and Brad Garrett will air on Sunday, September 20, preceding the live telecast of the 72nd Emmy Awards, only on ABC.
The quintessential game show sees the participation of a lot of celebrities along with their famous families that try to win big dollars by answering survey-type questions. Answers from at least 100 people are collated and the one that guesses the most popular response, wins. Participating celebrities have a pre-decided charity organization of their choice to which hundred percent of the money won on the show is donated to.
According to an ABC press release, following the first game featuring Romano and Garrett, rock bands Fall Out Boy along with Emmy Award winner Seth Green faceoff against Weezer in the second game. "Ray Romano vs. Brad Garrett and Fall Out Boy vs. Weezer - It's an epic 'family' reunion when two comedy greats, Ray Romano and Brad Garrett, test their skills and compete for charity. Then two famed rock bands, Fall Out Boy and Weezer, go head-to-head on this special new episode of 'Celebrity Family Feud'."
