Camila Cabello, who last dropped a single with rapper DaBaby called ‘My Oh My’ a year ago, is all set to drop a brand new song for her fans. However, she will be going all solo for her latest project. The Grammy-nominated singer’s new song is called ‘Don’t Go Yet’ and will hit the internet this week.

The renowned Cuban-American singer is regularly keeping her fans updated by sharing interesting photos from the official music video. The ‘Senorita’ hitmaker has so far dropped two full-length projects namely ‘Camila’ in 2018 and ‘Romance’ in 2019. Her debut self-titled project had peaked at number one on the Billboard 200 album chart. The former Fifth Harmony member has since delivered a lot of hits, making her one of the top global singers.

Release date

Cabello first announced her new single ‘Don’t Go Yet’ on July 16 via her official Twitter account. According to her tweet, the song will hit the internet on Friday, July 23, via Sony. Fans can also pre-save/pre-add the track here.

How to stream?

Cabello’s latest single will be accompanied by a music video. Therefore, if you planning to enjoy the audio, you can head to leading streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Tidal and Deezer. Whereas, if you are planning to watch the visuals, you can always head to the official YouTube channel of the singer.

Concept

Cabello’s announcement of the song did not really start on a good note as she was dubbed “racist” by the internet for sharing the big news on the same day her former Fifth Harmony bandmate Normani dropped her solo debut single called ‘Wild Side’ featuring Cardi B. Cabello, who was accused of ruining Normani’s release, later tried to make it up by asking fans to enjoy Normani’s new single.

The 24-year-old singer also shared a cover art of her new song ‘Don’t Go Yet’ which features a very pink-hued aesthetic. Cabello can be seen wearing a large earring while rocking a stunning black outfit teamed with long black gloves and very long tied hair. Speaking of Cabello’s career, she has amassed billions of streams on music platforms. The young songstress had the best-selling digital single of 2018 and she has bagged several awards throughout her career, including two Latin Grammy Awards, five American Music Awards and one Billboard Music Award. She has been nominated for Grammy Awards thrice.

Trailer

Cabello has not shared any trailer of the song but she did share a picture from the official music video on her Instagram account. She captioned the picture of hers wearing a shimmery black outfit as, “7.23. #DontGoYet. Presave and pre add. Link in my bio. I always talk like a robot when I’m about to release a song I love so damn much.”
