Camila Cabello has always been open about how she looks at her body and has even clapped back at body shamers on Instagram. So when she was snapped while she relaxed on the beach, it was a 'no filters' moment that fans loved. She was out with her boyfriend Shawn Mendes, and the pictures were clicked after they took a dip in the sea.

Cabello and Mendes were enjoying some downtime at the Soho Beach House, Miami, and also hung out with Camila's 14-year-old sister Sofia. Cabello wore a two-piece tie-and-dye style bikini, while Shawn sported black swim shorts. After pictures of Cabello were posted on news sites, fans loved how she continued to keep it real and one Twitter user posted, "Anyway Camila Cabello's body is amazing and she's SO hot."

Another fan, who probably noticed some trolling about Cabello's unedited pictures tweeted, "camila cabello looks so good idk what cr@ck you guys are smoking like???" referring to the few critical comments thrown her way.

One other user also agreed and posted a tweet along the same lines and said, "It's really sad to see the attacks that Camila Cabello suffers from her body. Nobody is perfect. I'm not and I'm sure you who read this aren't either. We are perfect in our way and not the standards imposed on us. LOVE YOURSELF THE WAY YOU ARE!"

Speaking about her experience of being body-shamed on her Instagram page stories, the 'Havana' singer spoke about the one time that she had chanced upon a headline that shamed her and said, "Honestly first thing I felt was super insecure just IMAGINING what these pictures must look like, oh no! My cellulite! Oh no! I didn't suck in my stomach!" she wrote.

Cabello then added, "But then I was like... of course there are bad pictures, of course there are bad angles, my body's not made of fucking rock, or all muscle, for that matter, but the saddest part of young girls growing up in an airbrushed world is they're seeking a perfection that's not real."

She further added, "I'm writing this for girls like my little sister who are growing up on social media. They're constantly seeing photoshopped, edited pictures and thinking that's reality, and everyone's eyes get used to seeing airbrushed skin, an suddenly they think THAT'S the norm. ?!!! It isn't. It's fake. AND FAKE IS BECOMING THE NEW REAL. We have a completely unrealistic view of a woman's body. Girls, cellulite is normal, fat is normal. It's beautiful and natural. I won't buy into bullshit today!"

Mendez and Cabello met in 2015 and began dating in July 2019. Cabello while speaking of her relationship with Mendes had said in March 2020 that her romance with Mendez left her feeling "exhausted.”

She explained, "I want more, we want more... But honestly, we’re being in our twenties." Also referring to why their relationship was exhausting, she clarified that it was not their busy schedules. She said, "No, not even like that. Just like being in love is exhausting... it takes it out of you!" and added, "We can’t even go to the studio, we can’t, yeah. We’re trying to calm down!"
