After a successful run in the UK, 'Bulletproof' Season 2 is all set to arrive in the US. This time around, things are a lot more exciting than before with an international storyline and a lot of thrilling adventures coming up for Aaron Bishop (Noel Clarke), Ronnie Pike (Ashley Walters) and their team at the NCA.

MEA WorldWide (MEAWW) caught up with David Elliot, who plays Tim 'Jonesy' Jones on the show, for an exclusive chat where he talked about how after all the trauma of last season, the boys are now taking on a crime family and going on an adventure across Europe.

"There's a lot more action and bigger car chases and sightseeing and battles," Elliot teased. "So we're in places like Amsterdam, Malta, and obviously back in London as well. So we're chasing this Greek Cypriot crime squad all the way through Europe as the guys go deep undercover." This season also brings in a lot of changes for Jonesy specifically. After being in a more negative role in Season 1, Elliot reveals that Jonesy will take on a more comedic aspect in Season 2.

"So Jonesy, the last season we saw him in the bad books with the rest of the squad, having had an affair with Bishop's girlfriend. So he had to really redeem himself," Elliot explained. "This year we'll find him partnered up with Munroe, who is the hapless bumbling one. So Jonesy is not really happy being partnered up with someone who is going to get him into a lot of scrapes and cause a lot of trouble. So they become sort of the opposite of what Bishop and Pike are where they're (Bishop and Pike) really cool and slick and they (Munroe and Jonesy) become more of a Laurel and Hardy and a lot of comedy comes out of there. So they try to emulate the partnership of Bishop and Pike but they definitely aren't in the same ballpark."

So does that mean all is forgiven between Jonesy and Bishop? Not quite, but mostly, yes. "The hatchet has kind of been buried," Elliot said. "I mean, obviously it takes a while for Jonesy to get the trust back. There's a big, big journey with Jonesy in this season specifically. I can't give any spoilers away because of where it goes but it really does build up to something. And you'll see exactly how much everybody cares for Jonesy later on this season and how much he's managed to work his way back into everyone's hearts. And hopefully, that's the thing with the audience as well, because last year, because of what Jonesy did, he was kind of like the villain of the squad and this year I think you'll see Jonesy becoming a hero in the latter part of the season especially."

Well, that definitely sounds like an interesting story and we can't wait to watch it unfold.

'Bulletproof' Season 2 will premiere in the US on June 10 at 9 pm ET, only on The CW.
